Namasté my dear friend! I learned this mantra during my Iyengar yoga teachers training in The Netherlands and I always remember my first time in Pune - India during a training together with many other students and chanting together. That was just magical. I wish you a good day 🙏💛🧘 🕉️

The challenge is that traditionally one only becomes eligible to learn Vedic mantras after Upanayana Samskara (Gayatri initiation). It is not to be taught to just anyone - one needs to prepare oneself to become a proper vessel to hold this knowledge. :-)

Thanks a ton Poornachitanyaji for this knowledge!!! 1) Could you please talk about guru gita. 2) Like Suktanjali can you make playlist of all famous hymns by Adi Shankaracharya( I love all of his writings). Your voice is melodious and you pronounce the words clearly, I get those words without looking at the text. If you find time please take this into consideration.

Jai Gurudev Swamiji, thank you for sharing this Mantra. 1. Would it be possible to also share mantras that honour the 5 Vedic deities that govern their 5 respective elements? 2. Also, could you please teach us a mantra that honours & invokes the energy of Lord Garuda? I have read that his energy also protects against a certain kind of serpentine energy. 3. If you could also share a mantra to pray to Lord Bramha. Looking forward to the Devi Kavacham chanting sessions!
@purnesh.official4 жыл бұрын
The panchayatana devatas (5 devatas that Adi Shankara included in the main worship) are Surya (Sun), Ganapati (Ganesha), Ambika (Devi), Shiva and Vishnu. There are many mantras for each of them :-). I will see if I can find a nice mantra for Garuda. Lord Brahmaa is not commonly worshiped, and there is an interesting story about the same in the Puranas, how he was curses not to be worshiped by Shiva. However, there are some Vedic mantras, as well as a Gayatri for Brahmaa. But why would you want to pray to him? :-)
@ishansingh52174 жыл бұрын
@@purnesh.official Thank you, Swamiji for your response! :) I believe your Ganesha Atharva Sheersham chanting sessions coupled with Guruji's Narad Bhakti Sutra led to a profound experience! I then felt it would be appropriate to also pray to Lord Brahma from whom I believed these mantras originated as I felt there are secrets contained in each Sanskrit mantra. Please excuse my half-knowledge from childhood stories. I will be referring to your videos also for more knowledge. However, now with so many gods to pray to I am quite confused. So now I'm just praying to Guruji as Krishna as a short cut at the start of the day & chanting the Ganesha Atharva Sheersham before starting work. I'll refine my morning prayers to also pray to the panchayatna devatas, thanks again for sharing! :)

There is no mistake there. If you are referring to the commonly seen 'yo’pākarottamaṁ' instead of 'yo’pākarottaṁ', then this is not correct. You can tell by the fact that it disrespects the Chandas (meter).
