This tutorial is the best I have ever seen. I'm going to watch it a second and third time because it's so complete. Thanks a lot. you deserve many more subscribers. You are a danger for all these paid tutorials lol.

Loving the series. What I need to wrap my mind around is two things that I think are the best features that are never taught in these kinds of series. The 1st is link anim layers/graph and how to get those to communicate through gameplay tags. Can you include a few lessins on one of these?

Again we’ll done. I had wondered about how to add components to actors during gameplay, now I know. 👍

Hi, first of all great tutorial, seriously so good, and i have a question at kzbin.info/www/bejne/jHeckmCGrberZqc this location you called GetOwner for each sequence, can we call it once and use a reference to it on multiple places (we could get some performance benefits if called once, or it doesn't matter)?
@CoquiGames Жыл бұрын
Yup! Thats exactly what I do - On Begin Play I use Get Owner and save the reference to a variable that I use throughout my BP. Its a small improvement, but those add up over time. Great catch! :)

I don't underszand why you create a custom event evReceivedDamage, why not simply use directly TakenDamage? Why to create basically a copy of existing event?
