hey Tim, I've been in a bit of a slump lately cause I can't watch a 10 mins video without pausing over and over again, often times I'd spend up to an hour and would only be 3 minutes in, cause when I'd look up one concept, 03 others that I don't know are used in explaining it 😅 so if I wanna understand concept A, I'd have to first understand the 03 mini-concepts 😂 and this goes on for a while. This makes me come to terms with my failure, for today's failure, is tomorrow's succes, thank you Tim ❤

Both the school system and colleges need a gigantic overhaul, because both of you are right and I agree. The knowledge Tim and other YT-coders provide is much more practically useful than a college degree. The only time I'd suggest someone go to college is if they want to teach as a college professor or to further the maths of CS.

Yes 100% true. I am into it for plenty of years now. In my "new" job (been there for 4 years now actually) I have this supervisor/project manager/mentor, that is just on a completely different level xD This guy is crazy.. I thought I was good, but this guy is legend. I learn so much from him everytime we review my code/commits I mean I have been coding for years before I got the job. Even before I studied Computer Science, I have already been coding, alot.

It normally takes me a lot of time to watch videos or read documentation mainly due to I have a busy lifestyle so I will take notes as I'm watching videos or reading documentation in case I have to step out for something and I can pick up where I left off by reading through my notes. I also do the same for my code I will leave notes, comments or even to-dos in my files so I know where I left off and what still needs to be done. Sorry for the long comment

Sir i can't believe that how much this is related to me. I also do the same thing watching tutorial then pauses it and then i go to my editor and then i do the same things that tutors do i also do a lot things on my own like as you said predicting what tutor is going to do. And sir i also completed my 12hour python course i learned consistently every day from 5 months and today i completed it with 5 projects. Of course i don't build those projects on my own i build while watching the tutor. And you know i learned python on my phone i don't have any laptop or PC BTW I'm 15years old boy

Sir, my main motivation for learning to code is to make money through freelancing. However, I really struggle with consistency. I had mastered Python at one point, but after not coding for a year, I’ve forgotten 50% of it. I also realized that just knowing Python basics isn’t enough to get a job. I need to move on to another language and expand my skills. I'm running out of time cz I'm already 16.

If you're a scientist with a pretty good knowledge of theory, the easy path is to run a simulation which you know the theoretical answer to. Just like in experimentation, you know, "if I did it right, it should look like this." In code, it's the same thing.
