How does the string go in and do you finish the sides?

You will have two strings, you put one string through the side opening and then tie the knots at both ends and repeat the process again to put the string in the second side opening and make a knot to tie the ends. I Hope this helps.

She really didn't finish the tutorial with the raw edges at the top where the rope goes. I will watch a different tutorial to see what happens on the sides. Spent way too much time showing the sewing of the seams.
