Thank you for sharing how to make this very nice wash cloth! It's a quick and attractive project. After watching for a few minutes I recognized the stitch, it's called the lemon peel stitch and there are a few nice variations. :-)

How many rows did you do you or did you just measure by folding triangle till it became a square when folded ?
@kellyreneeveryday
@kellyreneeveryday 3 ай бұрын
@@krazymammaw3040 I don’t usually count rows on dishcloths. I will make it square by folding to a triangle and matches the edges. Thank you so much for watching and leaving this comment. If you need anything else, let me know.

Hi! When you start a new row, do you turn clockwise or counterclockwise? (you were off-camera). I've been paying attention to micro-details lately. Thank you for this great tutorial!
@kellyreneeveryday
@kellyreneeveryday Жыл бұрын
I’m so sorry about that. I turn clockwise…so the working yarn is on the back of the stitch. Thx for watching!!! I really appreciate it!!

Can u do a border on the cloth ?
@kellyreneeveryday
@kellyreneeveryday Жыл бұрын
Your certainly could. I think a simple single crochet would be nice. Putting 3 in each corner will help keep them flat. Thank you for taking time to watch and comment. I really appreciate it!

I don’t like those needles because they have the writing where your thumbs going to go. I like it when the writing is on a different part of the hook so it doesn’t make your thumb sore. Just saying.

You might call that a wash/dish cloth, but I'm thinking if you magnify it several times over, it's going to make a nice front and back to a pullover sweater... for the which i may -- or may not -- make sleeves... but you g'head 'n call it whatcha want.... LOL P.S. I'm gonna make sure that the squiggly lines actually do go "up and down" so that they will be slimming. I fear if they are horizontal, I may look like of whale breaching the waves! LOL P.P.S. NOTE TO SELF: lose weight - good yarn is too damnably expensive these days!

Great suggestion on wash/dish dishcloth…growing up we always said washcloth. The fun part about crochet is getting creative with how to use the stitches! This stitch is beautiful everywhere I use it…it won’t disappoint. Yes, for good quality yarn, you need to pay more 😉
