This is what I find the most difficult. I never get the movement right, more often then not not move enough and kind of move INTO the punches and never got it to feel anything but weird and awkward. Struggling hard with this. Loving the "follow along" drill kind of stuff! Excellent stuff!

Luka Merkviladze it cant fully replace sparring but it’s something that can be used very well alongside sparring
@alexong25425 жыл бұрын
@Luka Merkviladze this is like a drill practice to implement into your muscle memory. The more you train in head movements , by slipping or bobbing and weaving , the faster your reflexes will be in sparring or real fights. I would suggest you spend half an hour or more just non stop head movement training with a partner. You may start slowly , and slowly building up speed into it.
@alexong25425 жыл бұрын
@Luka Merkviladze in sparring , it's all about the mental game , rather than the physical. If you're afraid , of course, you'll tense up Don't think of it like a life or death situation. Think of it as a game. A fun game , where you tag with your fists

I love it, this should be a recurring series to increase the variety. After practicing a couple of the punches I feel like I'm starting to memorize the video rather than look for the proper telegraphs to know what punch is coming. Doing this video with different combinations each time could help build a playlist that we can put on shuffle, and force us to work on our reaction speed and look for the right tells to dodge the punch. Just a suggestion, love the video since this exactly what I need to improve my game.

I can’t explain how much this helped, I had all the dodging moves down I just needed to reflex train myself. I still get hit obviously, but it’s way less common and it’s also helped build my confidence. I don’t have to be too scared of getting hit because I know I put in the work to avoid it when it comes time to put it in action

An extended version of with the forecasts hidden as captions, so we can start with it on and turn it off later as we get better. 3. Perhaps upload versions at different speeds? 4. More combos! Go for multiple rounds! Thanks man! I just subscribed so I hope you read this.
