I'm 38 recently got back into skating again, thanks to your videos I've just learnt to roll into a small concrete mini with no real coping. Something about watching this video specifically gave me the push to go and try again after months of frustration and just being too scared. Cheers!

Thanks Jon. Looks like it's time for me to start trying to learn these again. I gave up a year ago, but you've given me some new ideas (and hope).
@JonBishopSkate4 жыл бұрын
Yeah!! Go for it, I stumbled on the idea of working on the 180 head and shoulders from the bottom up. The Smith is pretty much it, and when I was learning the front Smith I over cooked it and got into the stall by accident!!

I see you skate a lot of transition. I love it also but mostly because i want to improve my surfing. Although, I'll recommend you to skate some ledges, transfers and flat rails (If you ain't). I've seen improvement in my transition skating because of the quantity of ollies ive been doing skating those and especially for this trick (and since you said you would like to pop them high... i think it will be helpful). Also it has help me with the knee bending!! Haven't had the cojones to commit to the fs disaster on a big ramp but i've landed some fs ollies... I can see the light at the end of the tunnel :). Again thanks for the tip. I'll try to do the fs disasters as a powerslide.

Dear friend, I really appreciate your videos and I would like to build a mini ramp in the garden of my house, something similar to yours, to facilitate learning. Could you give me the measurements of your mini ramp? thanks man.
@JonBishopSkate4 жыл бұрын
Hey man. Many thanks for tuning in. I recorded a video of the build if you’d like to take a look. All the measurements and materials list is in the description. It’s super easy to ride. Only thing I’ve changed since the video is I’ve added steel coping and safety fences. In short it’s just under 3ft tall, 6’6” radius and 8’ wide. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aGScZJWbpd6XkLc

with that pivot to tail you could basically do a tail stall!
@JonBishopSkate4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I’d like to give the 180 to tail a go, same thing as the pivot to tail only hop straight in without the truck pivot on the coping bit !
