I've been waiting for vert skating for the last 10 years and I'm pretty sure it would come back anymore then a quick fad occasionally.

This guys got a good tutorial for inverts. Just do them over and over and over again. Yes you will gradually get higher on the transition. By the time your on the coping you'll be worrying about other things, also once your on the coping start doing them ally-oop, youll do that without thinking as your inverts get better. Same with style. You'll start to maybe straiten your front leg or something. But dont worry because all this comes without even thinking, the more you do, the better. The point at which you know you've got it is when you put your hand down (which by now is just barely touching the cope with your fingertips) and you have time to think "i dont need to even touch the cope, i think I'll turn this into a inverted air". And the best feeling is when you reach out and you're too high up to reach the coping. Keep putting your arm out and doing your own traditional hand plants, but if you're stoked and the session is on fire with music and illumination into the night, and your friends are going off, then yes, risk slamming for the highest invert you can do while the tickling the cope with your fingertips. Drink that rubber gardning hose water for extra radness. And remember you dont need a huge ramp. 6 - 8 feet high and thats it. And at that size the transition wont go to vert anyway, but its perfect for mid 80s ramp riots. Happy shredding and good video mate, from Tasmania

I started skateboarding with little to no experience a year ago at 27 years old. Seeing handplants in Tony Hawks was the reason I bought a board. I found your channel through this video. I learnt layback tailblocks, layback airs and sweepers with your tutorials! I even learnt to throw frontside airs over the coping thanks to You!!! Nobody at my hometown does these tricks! And I‘m well on my way to bringing the handplants up to the coping! Thank you so much for this channel, I can‘t emphasize enough how much these tutorials helped me!!! 👏👏👏👏 Thanks and best regards from southern germany!

Love the aesthetic and the style of the video the retro theme is super refreshing. But the tutorial is great. The systematic breakdown of the trick and progression help. I thought I was sucking when trying it at the bottom of the quarter. But as soon as I got the wheels the bonk the coping, it gets easier to stand it up and rotate it around. Subbed my dude ✌️

I JUST DID MY FIRST HANDPLANT EVER!!! 🎉🎉🎉🤯🤯 All thanks to your video! I still can‘t believe it!!! 1,5 years ago I started skating just to learn this trick and fell in love with the sport. Thank you so so much!!! Your videos are awesome! Thank you so much for putting in all the work and dedication! P.S. What helped me a lot to finally get my hand up to the coping was to really wait until the front wheels are in the air, until the back truck is hitting the coping. I just couldn‘t get my hand to the coping and after watching the video again and again I noticed you doing this. :)
