I started skateboarding with little to no experience a year ago at 27 years old. Seeing handplants in Tony Hawks was the reason I bought a board. I found your channel through this video. I learnt layback tailblocks, layback airs and sweepers with your tutorials! I even learnt to throw frontside airs over the coping thanks to You!!! Nobody at my hometown does these tricks! And I‘m well on my way to bringing the handplants up to the coping! What helped me a lot to finally get my hand up to the coping was to really wait until the front wheels are in the air, until the back truck is hitting the coping. I just couldn‘t get my hand to the coping and after watching the video again and again I noticed you doing this. :)

Love the aesthetic and the style of the video the retro theme is super refreshing. But the tutorial is great. The systematic breakdown of the trick and progression help. I thought I was sucking when trying it at the bottom of the quarter. But as soon as I got the wheels the bonk the coping, it gets easier to stand it up and rotate it around. Subbed my dude ✌️

Similar with fs airs for me, I can get them close but struggle to commit. Been working up to it for around 3 months now, inverts 2 months...but not anywhere near as long as u, I'm sure u got it tho :)
