Love this. I've never seen his before. I think I'll try it in a journal. I'm so pleased to see this without any special tools. For me it makes sense to not have a lot of special tools that only occasionally get used.

Thank you so much for showing us how to design lattice folds! I love making the lattice braids on the folded edge of cards and I've always wanted to learn to make the circular lattice folds too - now I can. Adding the flower designs from Peg Stamps adds so much to these cards!

Love Lacé! Not only do I remember it. I have one die, but quite a few metal stencils for tracing and cutting. Always used with two-sided papers though, never thought about stamping wreaths around them. Thank you!

Very pretty design and stamping. I saw a technique on Carol Duval years ago where she used a heart punch shape with a hollow center and overlapped them. I bet one could use the pie shape and folding for that, too.

Love this. I bought loads of Lace metal lattice fold templates back in the day and never really used them. So now I can dig them out and use my peg stamps with them. I do remember that I used to put shiny origami paper behind the lattice, so might try that again. Thank you for the inspiration Lindsay.

Thanks for the instructions to make my own. I don't think I would have been brave enough to try making my own, but it is a good reminder to get out my Spellbinder dies.

Just made a bunch of these using my Silhouette after watching you do it...but I think you could do this technique with ANY dies that are appropriate sizes, by using the partial die cut technique where you only put the top plate up to the fold line for each cut (and rotate your paper 45* for each cut).

I like how you stamped around the diamond folds. These files are easy to make in Make The Cut software for digital cutters. I am sure a searched for SVGs would bring up some. I have some of the hand cut templates. I will have to get them out and use the again.

I did lace too and have templates. I'll look them out too. Thank you for the eureka moment. Why didn't I think of trimming off the excess rubber on my peg stamps to rid myself of halos? Thanks for the tip. I've just done it before I forget!

Lindsay, I've never seen this done before, and I *LOVE* it!! Thanks so much for sharing this idea. I also want to say that I really like the fact that you're honest and share your entire creative process with us, the good, the bad, and the ugly. LOL It helps encourage me because if even Lindsay had to work at it the first time around, then maybe there's hope for me! Please stay *YOU*. God bless, sweet pea. :-)

These are beautiful cards! It is all well and good if you have all those peg stamps to achieve the final product, however not all of us get product "donated" by the various companies to own all the supplies. The name "Frugal Crafter" doesn't mean much when the products are "free"

I found with the Spelllbinders dies, double sided paper was most effective. Since you're working on white, you could ink the back of the paper & get more contrast once you've folded it.
