Would this work if I used a dark gray for the base? I've been painting my bichon but I've finally found something that looks helpful!! Yours looks great but he is very white so I think it would still look too dark with black, would love to see a full white curly dog with your techniques. I'm actually a beginner painter so I don't know much about skills or even what brushes to use to achieve what.

Hi Cinnamon. Just was directed to this video. My poodle Magic crossed Rainbow bridge last year. I want to paint him, but never did a good job. My question is, he was black. Any suggestions on how to make your tutorial look more black than gray ? Thank you for all you do. 💗
