Usually I use hb or 2 b pencil. Or I transfer sketch on canvas with carbon paper. It works really well.

Hello, thank you for the vid! What’s the brush you’re using to paint her hair (for example, at 5:20), I checked the 3 listed links and it seems that brush isn’t one of them, thank you!🍀

It was a locally sourced brush. Its like natural pony hair. Usually used by watercolor artist. It works beautifully for adding hair texture. Any similar brush should work as well. Thank you so much for watching my art 🙏😊 Have a nice day.

Ohh my god what a beautiful work , but i don't understand why are you using texture surface for putting colours and mixing work ? And what is the meaning of putting brown color first if you have to paint blue finally for sky ?

Acrylic something don't stick properly to the canvas if painted directly. So a base tone is always recommend. The brown tone gives the painting an overall mood. You can see in my other paintings that I am using different colours as undertone and gives altogether different results. And this is not a texture surface. It's a piece of Canvas that I am using as a palette 😃 Thank you so much ☺️🙏

Mostly white bristle flats. But sometimes watercolor pony hair or fan brush as well. Thank you.

I appreciate this question. I'm currently waiting on my 2nd layer of gesso to dry. I have done a masterpiece on a rough, ungesso'd canvas though. Was nothing too extreme, just a Van Gogh style portrait.

Nice video. But as a beginner painter I still didn't feel like I learned much by watching this video. It would be nice if you had a description/voice-over of the colors and what types of paint brushes you use and how exactly to mix the colors to get the particular tone that you're going for. Otherwise cool video to display your artwork.
