When I decided to switch to the classical guitar after 30 plus years of electrics and steel strings this was the first song I started working on. It is so pretty but deceptively difficult. Barre chords on the nylon are NOTHING like on other guitars. Much more difficult. Tavi is just the best and this is a wonderful tutorial......and it's FREE! Amazing.

i don't know why more people aren't watching these tutorials, they're so easy to understand and this guy that teaches you actually slowly goes through the song unlike other tutorials that rush through it too fast. in conclusion though, these are great tutorials and i now know how to play so many songs because of this KZbin channel

Hi , I have subscribed to your tutorial and am trying to learn this - one of my favourites - at the moment. However, I find the pull-offs a big challenge - almost obstacle in moving forward and learning this. The reason I believe is that I have a slight bend on my little find due to excess bone. What this means is when I pull off with the pinky, my ring finger fends to move in the same direction involuntarily. My QUESTION. Is this a general challenge for people, or due to my pinky problem? Thanks in advance.
@gumundurbenediktsson83793 жыл бұрын
i think its a general issue. i had the same problem. you just have to practice very very slowly and precisely to pull it off.

How do you memorize the place of the frets when shifting? Extremely hard. Furthermore one has to memorize same notes on different strings. Finally at the same time moving your fingers the way you teach.... really hard to manage all of these at once.

I learned bar 6 a bit different..6th bar goes from 1 st string-10th fret (together with open 5th string), pull off to 8th fret, then onto 1st string 2nd fret and then 5th fret on 4th & 5th string. Which is correct?

You do realize that Tavi Jinariu is a teacher and that Elite Guitarist is a business, don’t you? This is his job. If he doesn’t charge, he doesn’t eat. I wish people had as much respect for music teachers as they do paying for Starbucks, shoes, clothing, etc.
