Also note, and I'm sure veterans know this, the higher your arm speed gets and your technique improves, the more overstable disc is needed for longer drives. I had a Valkyrie and Leopard when I first started. Great beginner discs in my opinion. Once my form was up to par, those discs burned right pretty hard for RHBH. That's where I learned the hyzer flip throws. Really fun to pull off 😃

This is a darn fine explanation of the numbers, one of the best I've heard. Enjoy the Nate commentary on Jomez. Due to elbow issues I throw the lighter Innova discs a lot, very happy such option is provided by a company.

One of the things I enjoy about discs is associating them as individuals. Character traits inherent within their base moulding, plastic, and weight. There is a factor I like to call "Post Production Profiling", within manufacturing, there is the basic mechanics of moulding the polymer/material for a finished product. However, there are natural factors that play a part in the very final product that also effects the kind of flight patterns within each "individual" of the discs that we choose, and use. Some basic comparisons I could give by example. A domey, or poptoppy disc will usually hold more glide to it, than a super flat disc. The dome, I've noticed, also will decrease the speed suggested as well.
