In my area they have mostly what are called “turtle back” greens. Greens are usually a few feet higher than the fairway which leads to a lot of having to use sand and lob wedges around the green. Would love to chip more with PW and 50 at least but don’t really practice that shot very much so it’s hard to bust it out on trips!

I need a whole lot more than 6 dozen balls per year. My local golf course has loads of water hazards and bushy rough, and unfortunately I find myself in them way more often thant I'd like to. :P I can't really remember the last time I used one single ball through 18 holes.

Better off sometimes using a 2 iron through the green to the hole being just two feet off the green.it works-try it.

That's what my driver shape reverts to when I've lost it, plenty of speed starting straight then curving wildly to the right, 107-113 driver swing speed, they only go about 220-240 when they start doing that, any ideas.. 260+ carry when I can keep them straight.

You and me both, when things start going wrong my 3 wood carries further than my sliced driver. Filmed my swing on a bad day and realised it's my hips that cause the problem - I do a huge early rotation and leave my hands nowhere to go but over the top and out to in. For me I have to focus on loading my right heel on the backswing and transferring that weight over to my left foot on the way down. Everyone's different though.

You have to accept that there will be some down time when you're trying to improve. Tiger had bad seasons in 2003 and 2004 while he was changing his swing. You almost always get worse before you get better. People that have the mindset like you are the ones that don't have much success from lessons. Following a lesson you suck bad at first and it scares you, so you revert to old habits and get a little better initially, but you're back in the same place you started. It doesn't help that they're playing a tough course on a very windy day either.

Mark Crossfield I’m going to play the dumb blonde card now even though I’ve no hair. I can get to your channel on my LG TV and Apple box but there are no playlists showing and a search for burnham and barrow golf comes up with your old stuff from 10 months ago with no other options. On the TV’s app and the Apple box basically they’re just large thumbnails that you can flick through and it’s much easier if you put it in the title of the video even if it’s in code like MC BB pt1 or something similar. It’s just feedback as I’ve had to grab my phone to try to find the videos to then find them again on the TV or cast from the phone to the TV. I hope that makes sense...
