I just came back from Origins, where I demoed and bought this, and I like it! If I may offer a couple of suggestions for if/when the game is reprinted--we could use some further explanation of the rule about five hunting party pieces in a straight line. The way the rule reads in the book makes it seem like the fox is allowed to move through the other pieces, even if there is a gap in between them--for example, if there are four pieces lined up next to each other in consecutive spaces, then a gap, then another piece that is in the same column or row. I had to ask the gentlemen working at the booth for clarification about this after encountering this situation in my very first game. Also, in some instances, I found the requirement to move three hunting party pieces to be disruptive to my plans when I only wanted to move two pieces (and rightly so), but could circumvent this rule by moving a foxhound one space and then back into the space from which it came. Consequently, I'm instituting a house rule that prevents you from being allowed to do that.

Fox hunting doesn't have the best reputation. I would have gone for an escaped convict running from bloodhounds for the theme.
