Good job as usual...love the vids, very good tutorials. Keep up the good work. Incidentally, there must be something wrong with KZbin’s logarithm if you only have 500 subscribers. You’re one of the better teachers of the Uke out there, with no BS.

Thanks Will! Much appreciated! Glad you're enjoying them. I'll just keep putting the videos out - I've only just gotten active on the channel again in the last month or so...so it may take some time. Thanks again for your comments!

I finally ‘get’ the island strum- thanks for playing that at a slower tempo than most I’ve heard .

Great fun to play, Kelly. Easy chords, easy strum pattern. Your shirt looks like fun. I have a couple myself purchased online second hand. A big thank you.

Hard not to sing along to that one!

Amazing how your voice can make this song sound good & authentic using only 3 easy chords. The other ukulele tutorials & tab sheets use more & more difficult chords

Wow, thank you!

@@fourstringstrummer It is not just your voice. It is your techniques that are so good. I love how you do the Island Strum. Your Island Strum has a different sound. A different rhythm that sounds so good for this song. I have a sentimental fondness for Margarettaville. We sang this when visiting at my mother's Assisted Living Facility when she was 101. She passed away a yr ago at 103.

Hi Phyllis - sorry for the late reply on this - it didn't show up in "unanswered comments" for some reason...I'm so glad you enjoyed it and that it brought back nice memories of time with your mom! 103 ! That's a long full life. I remember when my Dad's time was short there was a lady that would come around to the different rooms and play her guitar...I joined her one day when she visited my dad. He really enjoyed it.
