I like that you don't have to go with a player turn order based on where you're sitting; I wish it *was* the way you thought it was, where each set of player turns can go in whatever order so long as each play gets one and only one turn.

Thanks for doing a thorough run; it gives a good feel for the game. It's got a very "Sentinels of the Multiverse" feel, which I'm not really mad about, as that's a favorite around our table. And the environment (realm, whatever) providing things like quests that grant benefits when completed is a nice spin. Very neat. There's a good chance that I'm going to back this one.

Had this game show up in an ad on Instagram. It looks super fun and might be a good gateway for my wife to ease into card games. I’m in for the deluxe.

Okay, so I'm not sure if this was a mistake on your part, or if there was something specifically preventing you from doing the following: Zayn had a card that says his damage was increased by 2, and another that said his damage was increased by 1. As far as I can tell, this applies to all damage Zayn deals. With the cards that let him deal one damage whenever you played a card, and deal one damage whenever you discarded a card, Zayn should have been dealing 4 damage per card played and per card discarded. There was one turn where you played 6 cards and discarded 4, so that's 40 damage alone. Aurie's ability says the character 'cannot take damage'. It does not say the character cannot be targeted. In normal games, this means that if the character is the valid target for the damage, they would fail to take the damage and the effect would fizzle. You had Clair take 8 damage on one turn when you could have bounced it off Aurie's shield around Zayn. Aurie heals another player by 1 *whenever* she does spirit damage, so the card that does 2 spirit damage and heals someone by 2, should have provided another 1 point of healing. If there is something in the rules that prevents these interactions, I would like to know, as they seem correct based on the card text as presented.

I don't have the game any more so I can't check the rules to be sure, but the video was checked by the designer and there was a few corrections but nothing on any of the points you mentioned. Thanks for taking the time to watch the video and post your questions. I will see if I can message the designer to see if he can clarify any of this for you.

Do the cards themselves have no cost to play?
