Nick Lowe, one of the best songwriters out there. Still putting out new music. I saw him and his band at City Winery in NY City about 10 years ago.

Really amazing tutorial video here. I have watched a few and they all show ya the wrong way. I am from Columbus Ohio and have played for over 60 years. I worked for a company called Factory Productions back in the early, mid, and late 70s on and off as needed. I was on call to set up lighting and sound. We set up for R.E.O. and other bands in the early 70s that hadn't really hit the big time yet. We did a show for Elvis Costello in Illinois (If I remember correctly). Before the show, Elvis showed myself and two other stage hands who were guitar players also that little beginning riff. I never forgot that and have played this song many, many times with various bands I have played with over the years. I am very impressed to see you doing it the right way, although that chorus is a little tricky. I also love that Fender Mustang you are playing. That was my first good electric guitar back in 1969. All white and a beautiful looking, sounding, and playing guitar. I still use two Fender twin 12 amps with my Stratocaster now. An outstanding and excellent video here and you do explain it very well.... 😀👍👍👍

Hi, just found you and I'm glad I did. You're an excellent teacher and making guitar the most accessible to beginners of anyone on KZbin. First concert was Queen in 1979. First guitar lesson was Saturday Night when the Bay City Rollers put it on the charts.

Watching from Steamboat Springs, CO. First concert was Steppenwolf (I took Cathy Reeves!) in high school. Parents had to drive us. In Atlanta. BTW I love Cheryl Crow's version of this song. hb

It’s always easier to turn the volume down than to turn it up more when it’s already maxed out on your end leaving me nowhere to go in turning you up.
