All my trays and storage are from Crystal Fortress. I love these modular trays for organizing all my board game tokens when I am playing and filming.
Here is a link to their site www.crystal-fortress.com
All of my videos are filmed on GripMats which are made by Break from Reality Games. Here is a link to their website I would highly recommend checking them out.

Excellent tutorial. The game SEEMS complicated due to the sheer amount of little rules, but it is actually fairly simple. Collect resources, upgrade your characters, avoid getting infected and collect helicopter points. I feel like an initial play-through would require these rules to be explained and implemented as you go. It is information overload to teach a new group this game dumping all these rules at once. After a few rounds players will understand how most of these mechanics work. The fun of the game centers around the growing paranoia in the group and trying to determine who is still human by the end. The math at the final stage appears complicated (due to lengthy terminology in the rule book), but this video makes it nice and simple using dice to represent the numbers being added and subtracted. Well done.

Thanks for watching and posting I agree with you there are so many little rules to cover but the game is quick to pick up once you start playing and I have had some great games so far.

I'm at the 27:00 mark... Great job so far, just one addition to that point, since it can make a difference too. As you said, you can't spend actions while resolving any event, but you can play cards (as you've said too) AND can also still spend XP (you didn't say that)! :)

Thanks for watching and commenting. Thanks for the correction as well you are correct and that is one of the hardest things with this game no pun intended, but in is not a hard game just a ton of little rules and areas that need to be explained. I was so worried about run time with this one and I am planning on doing my first Game Master video covering this game where I will cover just what is needed for the average player to play hoping to make it a 10 to 15 min video that players can watch during setup by the owner of the game that hopefully knows the rules better or has watched my full video.

I actually don't think there are a ton of little rules unless you mean something different with it. The only not absolute obvious rules (I mean things someone may forget if he/she isn't that familiar with the game) to me are: - You can do everything during your turn, at any given point, apart from spending actions and moving. - You can only equip one of each item tile and only one of the two coats. - You can't play or spend anything during the Pre-Round-Sequence (incl. Instant Camp Events), since that take place outside of anyones turn. Apart obviously from the few specific cards that are specifically to be used for those instances (and point that out, like Adrenaline Boost to sleep alone). Everything else I think is pretty straight forward in regards to the rules and the difficulty comes from the dynamics as a result of random factors and the group dynamics, which many groups seem to struggle with... But don't get me wrong, I understand covering everything in such a rules video without getting something wrong or without missing anything is difficult. But if I'm playing the game, I don't feel like there are any little rules I have to remember or look for in the rulebook.

That is true, My thoughts are on the length of the rule book and how best to cover the rules within, even when I sent the video to the creative team behind the game they understood the video was going to be long due to all the different rules that needed to be covered. That is why I would like to make the Game Night video because as you said most of the time the rules are straight forward and there are not a ton of them you need to deal with just on rare situations. Thanks again for posting and talking about this it is great to see what others think on these games and how you handle them;)

I love the Thing and this looks interesting but there's way too much going on for me and seems complicated.

I would still give it a try it is actually not that complicated just a lot of little rules which is why the video is long but the game plays well and from turn to turn it is not bad most of the time you are doing similar things.

There are a lot of small rules that add to the complexity of the game but the main mechanics of the game are fairly straight forward. Let me know if there are specific things that you don't understand and I can try to help. Thanks for watching and posting;)
