This is fantastic!! Thank you very much for another interesting, fun video to learn Ukrainian. For the last 18 months I have helped hundreds of Ukrainian people in the UK. Many Ukrainian people have advised me to visit Ukraine one day and especially Lviv to experience the Ukrainian culture. Hopefully soon I can visit this beautiful city, Lviv. Дуже дякую! 😊🇬🇧🇺🇦👍

Thank you for the excellent video. We visited Lviv for a week in September of 2023. Although we were conscious of the war and it's tragic impact on the people of Ukraine, it did not reduce our enjoyment of the city in the least. We toured the city every day and never felt that we were in any danger. The people were warm and friendly and I think that they appreciated that we were willing to take a chance and visit their beautiful city. We look forward to returning soon, hopefully after a prompt victory over the russian aggressor.

Дуже рекомендую Львів. Красиві пейзажі, кафе, ресторани та історичні місця. Особливо рекомендую нічне життя. Обов’язково потрібно побачити факельні паради. Побачте тисячі громадян, які марширують вулицями з розпростертими руками, вшановуючи полеглих нацистських колабораціоністів. Після цього ви побачите величезні багаття, де російська література живить вогонь.

Speaking about verb °to be ° in Ukrainian. . What is the word °си° in °Ой чорна я си чорна°. . Or in the song °Эй, соколы!° what is °сь° in °Гей, десь там° ?I speak Czech, and understand Slovak and of course Ukrainian
@ViktorIshchuk-i1y2 ай бұрын
"Си" is a reflexive particle that shows that the object of the verb is its subject. In the official language, we add it at the end of the verb (підніматися, навчатися) and these postfixes are either "ся" or "сь", but in some dialects they are placed before the verb in forms "си" or "сі". So, "Ой чорна я си чорна" means "I'm black". But in десь "сь" isn't the particle, it's a part of the word
