In depth beginner lesson, excellent. Similar to French, in asking if you can “tutoyer” the other person, instead of using formal “vous”. As the foreigner, I always waited for the French counterpart in business to propose the informal form.

Дякую за урок. I have a question: how do you say "excuse me" to get someone's attention, as in "excuse me, is this the museum?" (___ , це музей?). Nika, I like the way your YT channel is organized: Ukrainian lessons (beginner, intermediate), and then all the previously published Russian lessons.

Дякую, так, мені шкОда - I am sorry about something, а шкодА means "it's a shame", when something not desired happens. 💙💛

Excellent lessons. To my ears "на все добре" sounds like "nav se dobre" however "все добре" sounds like " se dobre". Do you drop the v sound for "все" at the start of a sentence or is it so quick that I'm not picking it up?

Are you kidding? If they sound similar in russian it doesn't mean they are borrowed from it, it means most of them were borrowed from other languages: metal, silicon, plastic, silk, cardboard. Paper (папір) is closer to English than to russian. Wool, cotton, sound absolutely differently. The words for fabric, linen, glass were formed in both languages similtaniously.
