Excellent video! I have two questions: 1. Are there situations where one does not have to use "có?" For example, I have often heard Vietnamese people say "Anh khỏe không?" instead of "Anh có khỏe không?" 2. When asking about a person's feelings/emotions, can we also use "thấy + không?" For example, Bạn có mệt không = Em thấy mệt không

Hi Joseph, 1. You're right. "Có" is optional, a lot of locals skip this word to make it shorter and it doesn't change the meaning of the whole sentence. 2. You can use "Thấy + không?" to ask about feelings/ emotions, but "thấy" is not a grammar word like "có", "thấy" here is a verb, means "to feel". That's why you can say "Em thấy mệt không?", which is the shorter version of "Em (có) thấy mệt không?" Hope it helps :)

How do you answer có+không questions? If someone ask me: "Bạn có con gà không?" Do I say: "Tôi có" or "Tôi có con gà" or can I just say "vầng"? What of the verbs? "Bạn có ăn thịt gà không? Do I amswer: "Tôi ăn" or "Tôi ăn thịt gà" or "Tôi có" or "vầng" ?
