You included unsupported notes of Celine.Sohyang has no genuine ring,it means she has no technical resonance. You also included unsupported notes from Monica and Patti Labelle and Aretha Franklin.. I would say the same thing to them having resonance in some certain areas.

Whitney wud thin out a lot compared to mid belts as she goes up bcos she would be tryna push chest without reducing density + head to the sky + jaw flapping vibrato only adds a lot more tension. Luk at the neck implode. Still don't sound as whiny because she a belter. Celine wud get thin, her mix be nice tho. Patti wud be powerful but it do sound whiny. Babs wud get very light Aretha sounds powerful +great tho, ven at G5 with the I'm Losing You.14:21

@@liveinlove4945 yes Whitney’s upper belts are thinner compared to her mid belts. But compare her upper belts to Mariah Carey and you will see her upper belts are way heavier and chestier. Whitney used overdrive mode for her belts that means full/ tenor like chest voice. She could’ve bring her edge mode up to F#5 and it is really difficult to bring edge mode that high.

Beyonce's notes from G5 and above weren't belted, they were very heady and not powerful at all. Her Bb5 was VERY screamy, it wasn't good. She's an incredible vocalist, but her belts above F#5 aren't as good as other parts of her range.

Most of the notes above F5 are not really resonant. Some are artifacts of sound mixing. Very few are truly resonant above F5 - Mariah, Celine, Patti Labelle, Lara Fabian, and a few more.

For mixed belting, sohyang is always best. No one comes close to her. Powerful, crystal clear and resonant. Also i think celine is not same league with others for belting. Celine's mixed belting is weak and limited. Her c6 and c#6 is head voice not mix.
