Hi, I know you're always helpful and I hope you read this before I make the wrong purchase. Can one use a third-party OBD II adapter like say Vgate and pair it with this Blue Drive App, or the App only works with Blue Drive Adapters? And Secondly, does Blue drive work with the BMW E46 from 2001 and newer BMW generation/models?

Just got one of these for free today LMAO I needed this thing about a month ago would have been very helpful. I have some Auto mechanics education but never worked in the field so was always my assumption you had to work somewhere to have access to these tools.. was about to list this thing for sale online until I looked up what this was.. I have a two Corvette at 2016 CO six and I have a 2002 regular stingray and when I plugged it in the 2002 gave me readings no problems and plugging it in introduce car and it’s not doing anything

Good evening , I found ur video on the replacement of the blend actuator door for my 2006 ford f150 to be helpful. I had trouble lining up the splined shaft, eventually had to use the temperature up and down button to get it lined up where it would 'seat. i am still getting cold air. What should i do?

The scan may show old codes that haven't been cleared, but if a repair was done and the code cleared it will be permanently gone

I just picked one up and want to know if I can leave it installed over the winter? I'm in Upstate NY. I have noticed that when I do (overnight) I'll get a flashing red light from the unit at start up. So far the unit works as it should. It picked up a #3 misfire code I had over the summer that I cleared after the coil and plug repair. I thought that was cool.

Glad to hear your enjoying your Bluedriver, as to the winter question Bluedriver sensor can handle up to about -49 Fahrenheit so it should be fine to leave it in your truck.

Your vehicle will support all standard features: - Reading/clearing engine & emissions codes (anything that turns on the check engine light) - Live Data (you can check supported datapoints in our FAQ) - Smog Check - Mode 6 - MIL Status Any vehicle purchased in Europe in 2001+ (petrol) or 2004+ (diesel) will support reading/clearing all engine and emissions codes (Check Engine Light), as well as Live Data, Mode 6 (if supported by the vehicle), Smog Check, and MIL Status. Enhanced codes (ABS, airbags, anything other than the check engine light) are available for most compatible vehicles from GM, Ford, Chrysler (including 2013+ Fiat), Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Mercedes (2005+), Mitsubishi (2008+), and Hyundai (2013+). Unfortunately we are not able to test Europe only makes/models ourselves (e.g. Opel, Renault, etc) so we are not able to guarantee that specific systems will be readable on specific vehicles. Additionally, repair reports and VIN decoding are not currently available in Europe as our data provider is not GDPR compliant. If you have any questions let us know!

BLUE DRIVE: I have a 2010 INFINITI g37 and I've been having a check engine light for the last 4 months... I took my vehicle to the DEALERSHIP and they had my car for 3 months and could not find why my car is throwing a p0300 code... They've checked everything from compression tests to vacuum leaks, spark plugs, coil packs, injectors, throttle bodies, even used a borescope, reset the ECU more than 6 times, this is what I've been told and last but not least they say that they can't find the source of the problem because the computer isn't holding any codes on cold start 🤔... Well, I checked with my O2 scanner and I found that I still have the same p0300 code and the car does run a Lil rough nothing extreme but,nonetheless, it's rough and I do have driveability, but it feels like it's like I have about 90% power... And at a dead stop, it feels like the car is running a Lil rough and it smells like it's running rich... So, I'm looking for a solution to this madnessneed.... Can your product find my problem seeing these guys can't get it right after 3 months SMH... I've been to 4 mechanic shops and INFINITI being the last one... At this point I've given up on mechanics no disrespect to you guys, but where I live these mechanics are PURE SCAMMERS... I paid them just to tell me nothing and solved nothing... I hope that you and your product maybe the answer... Just a heads up, I'm not trying to be sold on something that MAY NOT HELP solve my problems... Peace and blessings...

If sold in North America after 1996 then yes you can! If from any EU country the vehicle would need to be 2004 or newer!

Unfortunately transmission temperature is not part of the OBDII standard live data set and is not currently supported by BlueDriver. We are starting R&D on displaying ATF temp for Chrysler & Toyota (the two most common requests for fluid changes) but there is no full ETA for release, or a list of what manufacturers will follow.

Used it on a 2000 geo metro with a suzuki engine. Does fine. But, the codes would not clear. Had to fix the issues first then run it. One code gone so far.

Tech support sucks bug time. You file a form. 2 months you get an e-mail with a "case number". A case number for just a simple question. 2 months later you get another e-mail saying to check status of your "case". I just asked a question why it can't tell me if one of my TPMS is bad. That's all. They can go to hell. Don't buy.
