my reason for going Overlord first then units is because when I hold down the button to create unitis, I don't quite have that feel when to stop holding down the button and sometimes all the lava can be used up like that making me have to wait a few seconds to create some overlords. Am guessing that's probably the main reason why others likes to make the OL first.

just tried this build vs a terran and around the part @3:30 where youre supposed to put back on gas i started to fall apart for some reason haha! i ended up droning to like 60 before starting to spam roach but got supply blocked at that point and everything else kinda started to fall apart lol. ill keep working on it, and your the best PIG!!

haha no problem mate, first few times doing a build is all just about getting a little bit of memorisation around the order until it comes to you naturally and you always know what happens next. You'll get it after some reps. GL HF!

how do you know what to build every game? do you open just standard roach hydra? I always over complicate my build and build 3-4 different types of unit haha

I cant get my middle mouse button camera key to work in game. and i also cant get my camera location hotkeys to work in game :( even after manually setting them in the hottkeys menu and then using those keys in games? makes me games harder

Oh that sucks. Best to seek help in the community on discord/forums and try to troubleshoot it. I personally don't use middle mouse button for anything except slowly panning my screen in the earlygame, when setting up camera keys. Not a super vital button

@@PiGCoaching Thats actually exactly what i used to use the middle mouse button for as well i've just been going to do it and nothing happens lol. I agree that its probably not vital though. I'll check there for the location hotkeys as well. Thanks for the replies!

I would love to see analyst on a per map basis. What are we likely to expect from protoss from each map. Why various openings work better based on the map from the toss so we can anticipate. Where blink works best against zerg, which bases locations to take in what order which ones to attack or try to deny. I think that would be cool.

It seems I lose that first overlord every single game in the 2000-2100 range. Especially against Terran, I've had to be WAY less nosey early game in the low rungs of ladder.

Perhaps send it straight to the pillar next to the natural or wait a bit outside the base to send it in later vs Terran

@PiGCoaching Thanks for the advice! I've been bringing it out a bit outside the nat so I can see attacks leaving their base or suiciding it into main later if desperate to see tech. Still struggling with turtle terrans but getting better at dealing with them slowly

Somehow in such videos you never get attacked, also when I hear lokov talk it is always like "yeah in bronze, people don't move their units at all, and forget they have some, and in general nothing happens." Well, I am in bronze playing Zerg at the moment, last time I played against a terran, he did a helion rush, I couldn't get him with ling bane, because he kited all the time. Playing against toss I always get a combination of void rays, stalkers and immortals. The game before some guy came with stalkers plus archons plus templars and carriers. Well you might say, you need to harass more, well what am I supposed to do against cannons? Yeah, I can build a big army of roach, ravager, but until I got that army, he got his, so that is not a solution. Lings suck against cannons, queens suck against cannons.
