Thank you! I just have a few questions. When the P is below the dew point there is only V and no L? Also is this the same for when P > bubble point so there is only L and no V. Also, what does this mean for the other species since Xa = 1 - Xb and if Xb = 0 does Xa = 1? Thanks.

Yes. You are on it. For two species in VLE, a pressure below the dew point means all vapor, and pressure above the bubble point means all liquid. If you have two species and one is 0%, the other must be 100%.

LearnChemE Thankd do Xa = 1-Xb (or with y) still works even if there is all vapour or all liquid?
