Great video. I didn't know you could adjust the time delay! I used one of these recently with a couple relays to control the AC side of a solar setup. My inverter doesn't have an adjustable cutoff and would run the batteries too low. A cheap solution for the time.

Just ordered three of them... never ordered from TEMU before... maybe it's the start of a beautiful friendship :-)

Using your boat battery example, it would be great to have something to shut-off the battery if you left an accessory on and the battery was going to be dead when you returned to the cabin next weekend but the quiescent draw from this module could itself still leave you with a dead battery. Because, in this boat case, there is no reason to have it be able to turn itself back on (no charging equip. attached) could you wire it to be shutdown along with the load whenever it detected the voltage was too low? You might need a means of bypassing the module to start the motor which could then charge the battery to an acceptable voltage. I think that these modules are primarily meant to function as charging controllers where the quiescent current draw is less of an issue. Is the relay the cause of the relatively high quiescent current, maybe it could be a replaced with a simple Mosfet circuit and made more efficient? Have you done a video making a simple efficient low voltage shut-off circuit. Maybe one that worked more like a fuse - uses very little power while the circuit is energized and none when it is activated?

I'll think on that a bit

The HW-633 does a similar job. Got one on Amazon for $1:88 only because i had more items in my cart from that seller in China. They are both great options for Charge Monitoring Systems. I don't think theres protection on the input though. 6-60v is quite a wide range for charging. I know it works well with a 48v system. Yhanks gor your upload and sharing.

do they make any modules that will switch a low battery over to be charged and switch the full battery over to run whatever the low battery was charging? Thanks

Thanks for this explanation. I was looking at these a while back and was having a hard time deciphering the Changlish. I did find one place on eBay that mentioned the high quiescent draw so it wasn't a good choice for my project.

I have two LifePo4 batteries, Basen Green 11.7kWh 51.2V (BG), and Ecoflow Delta pro - inverter 48V 3.6kWh (DP). I use BG to charge a DP battery via XT60 solar input (400W 8A). With the DP application, it is not possible to set the BG not to be completely discharged? Would be such adjustable 48V DC Over and Under Voltage Monitoring Protection Relay suitable for my batteries, so that voltage limit (under 51V) will stop charging DP from BG battery?

What is the maximum power this board can withstand? After half an hour / load of 50 watts, it has already warmed up a little

Hi. Have you tried hooking the battery to the output side and the load to the input ? Then a push button between in and out +. Then you press the button for 3 seconds to it has checked the battery and stays on. Then when it cuts off it completely cuts off. The only issue I have I when using a big load, the push button may be limiting. I have also tried a buck converter connected to the relay coil. However the buck converter gets really hot when its output is connected to the relay coil side over time. Maybe you have some ideas?

I guess the limiting factors would be the onboard relay's voltage and amperage rating. I added a 12v ceiling vent fan to my camper but have been afraid to let it run all night while camping in fear that I'd awaken with a dead battery and no way to start my camper. I suppose one of these could shut off my fan at a predetermined battery voltage level if my fan's power requirements are within the load limits of the relay. It would definitely make it easier to fall asleep on those hot summer nights while camping with a little breeze blowing.

Thanks for the video. Temu doesn't really provide this information. I'm using mine on a very "agricultural" solar hydroponic system for growing vegetables using a cheap Lead Acid battery. I was concerned that I'd be away from home and we'd get prolonged cloudy days and the battery would die before I got back. It's a useful device.

I just got one and hooked up I use it to control my 2500 watt inverter and the output of that module just goes to a 500 amp continuous duty DC relay to turn the inverter on and off so the batteries don't get completely drained because the inverter will suck the batteries down to 9 volts so I got it set for 11.5 it turns off and turns back on at 12: .5 volts

I got 3 from temu and all would not power up the display or output. Tried voltages from 8v to 20v and nothing. I had output connected to led and tapping the black relay I got flashes of output power but basically dead. Took photos with voltmeter on input and no led or display lit. Temu credited refund no problem.
