Hi,teacher Bob,it,s really awsome lessons, no matter shorter one or stream one.really helpful.especially when u live in as english as the main language country. people always use the simple words to express their feelings and meannings. but as a ESL studient, always looking for big words to tell the story. 😂 ,it.s not necessary. from u, i can learn a lot words and sentences that being used in our normal life..thanks. have a great day.

Thanks for the lesson only version Teacher Bob!!I know the Marathon run but i don't know this guy "Philippides"!!If you wondering why...it's because we learned our history when we were at school by heart!!A great word in Greek to describe this is:Parroting! We were parroting our history lessons when we had exams mostly!!That's why many students even today don't remember our History!

Great video, thanks a lot!!! I would like to share with you some notes. Where the Sputnik was launched into the Space Russia was apart of the "union" of countries called USSR. Why "thumb up"? Probably because we also have a gesture opposite to "thumb up" (when we point a thumb down) that's using when you don't like something.

When I was a child, I used to live in Mexico. People always used to have their windows open the hole day and as a way to communicate, ladies used to call their friends through the window and said " Hey, can you keep an eye to my baby while I go to do same errands?"

I would like to tell you about my experience with a word "envelope". I have listened an audiobook "The death of Karen Silkwood" about a girl who worked at a factory. She stolen a photo and put it into brown envelope. Just a small sentense about some thingy, but it helps me to express my opinion in English. Be well, Bob!

Do you no that, when I was a child, during that times families were extremally strict and did not allow their doubters and sons even to have friends. However, my older sisters used to send messages to their boyfriends with a kid so that my parents did not know that my sisters were in communication with them.
