i passed my test 2 days ago, found it pretty easy nothing hard about it, just keep your cool and drive exactly like you would on your lessons!

I passed a "pre-test" for a provisional licence to drive until I get my full licence in my country, and the paper has marks about how many of each minors you can do. Now on the actual test I think you are allowed one minor 2 times before the automatical fail (missing 2 signals and not observing well 2 times will still be okay in the end) basically one thing can be forgotten 2 times before you fail. IMO, waiting until you're 18 or 19 and getting your lessons done then is usually better if you haven't previously done any driving or if you're not a "driving enthusiast" until you actually need the licence to ease your life. And the most important thing is to take driving as it being something fun and enjoyable, if you feel uncomfortable or pressured by it, wait, take a bike, a bus or catch a ride with a friend until you feel comfortable starting to learn how to drive. There are many options depending on where you live and you're usually not incapacitated if you don't have a driver's license. You might want it or need it. And needing it usually brings up more stress because you're expected to get the licence but if you want it, you're mentally in a better, more comfortable place. I personally fell a lot better when I drive to prove I can drive on my own than proving I can do something I'll literally never need (!!75% OF SCHOOL!!)

I am not from the UK but just discovered these video’s and general enjoy your calm approach to performing these mock driving tests. The thing I find strange is that you are giving instruction on basic operation as to clutch use and gear switching. These are kids that think they are ready for a driving test but it seems that their own instructor is not teaching them basic things. At least where I live driving lessons and test are very expensive. It doesn’t seem they get good value out of the lessen they take.

I have my test in just over a week and there was a few questions I had about the test. Should I indicate around parked cars or when overtaking a cyclist? My instructor said it’s unnecessary indication but other instructors have conflicting opinions. Also, will I be asked to reverse bay park? I have been told that I will only be asked to either pull up on the right and reverse back two car lengths, parallel park or forwards bay park. Will I be specifically asked to reverse into a bay? When are you meant to go if somebody flashes you during your driving test? Do I have to wait for them to fully stop or slow down obviously as I know flashing doesn't qualify in your test!

You go when you see it's safe to. If someone flashes at you ALWAYS do your checks before joining the new road. The TEST is all about if you are capable of driving： Independently and your Awareness and Observation = Safe Driving

Automatic is not a good test but manual is, plus most learners seem to choose manual test than Automatic test. So there is really no point in showing Automatic when majority of viewers on here are learners or have passed driving a manual car

Does your course cover right-hand traffic? I could really use something like this and your videos do help with the tech part as cars either way work the same (clutch control, mirrors, etc.), but the overall driving on the left is confusing when it comes to traffic rules. I’ve got a question. On the test if you’re asked to do a manoeuvre in a car park (i.e. reverse bay or forward bay) are we allowed to choose any parking space to do the manoeuvre into, or would the examiner specify themselves whether they want you to park in a bay on your left or right?
