Hi! Question: I got a major for not being in the left hand lane going up the main road at the beginning of the video. I see here, the learner driver moves into the right hand lane when they see bus ahead, and STAYS in the right hand lane up towards Barnet village. I’m worried that in my next test I will be penalised for staying in the right hand lane. Would it be wise to always stick to the left lane when possible?

Hi, yes you should always stay in the left if you can. Unless you're in the right lane for a good reason, e.g: You're overtaking, you're going past parked vehicles, you're in that lane because you're turning right or the examiner has told you to go into the right lane.

I feel like the sign at 8:17 is really hard to spot and will catch a lot of pupils out. That's harsh

Especially if you're coming from where the van is. It's really easy to miss then. I have heard examiners tell learners to look out where signs are a bit hidden.

The Part 2 Routes go slightly further out and include Motorways like M25
