1. YES! Another in-the-real-world video. Love it! Merci beaucoup! 2. I know these take lots of extra effort, such as capturing the conversation in subtitles. Thank you for all that effort. 3. M. Geray, merci de partager votre temps avec nous et d'aider notre instructrice.

Wow, I understood everything...I could spot the verbs and the tenses...And words I didn't know, like "ouvier", I could imagine how they were spelled and look for them in the dictionary, all before watching the video with subtitles...Is that the best feeling, or what?

Bonjour Alexa. J'adore ces types de vidéos. Pour moi toujours, la partie la plus difficile d'pprendrenant le français est la comprehension orale. Ces vidéos, avec le contexte - le boucher, la boulangerie, etc., ce sont m'aident vraiment. Merci, merci, merci !

the thing about learning french is, finding it difficult to understand when the natives speak. My comprehension of reading the written language is way better than listening when the natives speak. Alexa, you're doing a great job doing these videos with subtitles. It makes me feel I still have a lot to learn. I believe conversation and how to pronounce the words help a great deal to master the language. French is my third language and I find it not very easy to be a fluent speaker overnight but slowly am showing some progress with your help. bisou! bisou!

@lesneosuper-zero16937 жыл бұрын
And French people think Spanish speak too fast, have you ever heard a native spanish ? xD
@G1yndyfrdwy7 жыл бұрын
When you listen to any native speaker, they seem to speak fast....then throw in a local accent, maybe Alsace here, then local dialects and words, and wow......I would go to the butcher and tell him I am learning French, and so far this has worked for me. I would behave the same to any visitor to the UK who was learning English by slowing down and using appropriate language. You do adapt quickly to the speed and to the sounds if you persevere, it all seems very daunting as in this video, but sticking at it is the key....remember, we have been using our mother tongues since were were about 6 months old, a new one won't come overnight, Great lesson Alexa. Will watch this again

est-ce que tu habites en France ou en Angleterre Alexa?
@5t3r3054x5 жыл бұрын
Il me semble qu'elle longtemps habitait en Angleterre, ou au moins je pense cela à cause de son accent britannique quand elle parle en anglais dans quelques unes de ses vidéos

Then you need to speak more. Find opportunities to talk to more French speakers. Travel abroad or use apps like HelloTalk and use the recording function.
