@isaacphillips2002 the pod is so goated because he took it so seriously. Which is probably why it isn't done anymore. I did something similar once. I got my hands on a very special piece of venison. In German we call it the "Nuss". I'm not sure what it's called in English; the direct translation would be the "nut" (does this make any sense?). Anyway, my girlfriend at the time asked me what exactly it is, so I grabbed her leg and pointed out her musculus rectus femoris. She did not appreciate the association, though.
@roginkАй бұрын
@@lonestarr1490 In colloquial English your 'nuts' are definitely something your girlfriend shouldn't have :)

@@rogink lol. Yeah, I should have anticipated that :D We actually call them that in German as well, but always in plural form (because most of us didn't suffer a fateful incident in WWI). The "Nuss" on the other hand is always singular, despite every mammal having two of them. But you certainly wouldn't order "zwei Nüsse" from your local butcher, but "zwei Stück Nuss" instead, as grammatically nonsensical as it is.

Both a hilarious and informative vid. It’s cool learning about why certain animal muscles are tender or tough based on how the animal uses them. I always knew ab the chicken breast being tender basically because chickens barely fly, so brisket being the beef breast with cows constantly supporting themselves with it, making it a tough cut is so interesting. Looking forward to more unhinged semi-retired ragusea videos like this.

Dear Adam, I love your channel. I’m a nerd so I love your food Science. I like to eat and cook, but when I tried to cook all I do is spend a whole day in the kitchen, make a mess, the food is awful, I buy a bunch of ingredients that I’ll never use again, and my husband gets mad at me for messing up the kitchen. Your channel is about the only one where I’ve had results with the recipes and the tips i.e. how to cook a hamburger on the stove in your small living space without turning on the smoke alarm, and your wonderful Jewish chicken soup which I made with parsnips which tasted so so good. I also like the way that you show how much you love your wife and family. You’re smart and practical, you don’t use bad language and I like your recipes. Your video on cooking with jewelry when you talked about wedding rings made me want to cry. You deserve success and a happy life and lots of subscribers. Holly.
