Part of the ignorance arises from Christian nationalism. Pretenders propagating a lie to promote their own self serving agenda. It's why abortion is banned, because a bunch of people think that God hates abortion, even though he does it in the Bible. These people haven't read the book and don't care, they just want to use it to be authoritarian and pretend to rule under their god. It's even in the pledge of allegiance, under God. It's a visible out in the open blatant lie. Just to be sure the lie was covered, Trump claims he is a Christian, the messiah, the chosen one and picked by God to rule, and Kamala isn't a Christian, even though there's plenty of video footage showing she is and understands it, and there's video footage of Trump not knowing a single verse and disrespecting the Bible by holding it upside down! Yet the people still believed him, because they are fools who have been manipulated by these false prophets, and you can't reach them either. They are beyond understanding until something bad happens to them, then they take to social media to cry about how they made a mistake, but notice they didn't say they should've listened to us, because they have too much pride to admit they were wrong entirely. They're treating this as Trump is just suddenly changing and putting other people in charge.

I did too. But almost nobody on the sane side realized how mad the USA had become, except a few specialists like Bernie Sanders. Now, belatedly, we do, but that doesn't mean we lie down and die before the MAGA monster.
@SeekingTheLoveThatGodMeans764810 күн бұрын
America, at least (I know you're in Canada, Ed): progressive politics needs to be teamwork that is as egoless as possible. Bernie Sanders, again, didn't have a big ego but he did have a great grasp on the problems. Maybe he wasn't the face for the presidential candidate, maybe he will never be such a face, but if a candidate does have a face for it, they shouldn't ride on ego on account of the face, but turn the ears of that face to those who know and whose knowledge has been justified, like Bernie. Maybe a Teamster will be forceful enough to carry the next Democratic presidential candidate mantle on image, but he or she won't do it well if he isn't humble enough to listen. We shouldn't need a Mafia to do this right. A sane progressive preacher may be the one.

Being an independent moderate, I get attacks from both sides, but I used to get it mostly from the left, while the right was more often sympathetic because they got treated badly by the same people. Now the right has decided to out-do the left for vitriol and intolerance. Please understand I'm not talking about everyone on the left, but the vocal minority who excel at being mean and condescending. The right could have kept trying to rise above the worst of behavior from the other side, but it seems instead they've chosen to sink down and prove they can be as bad as their counterparts, if not worse. And what I said about the left goes for the right too, I know they aren't all being jerks online.

May I recommend looking for the divine in nature? Being outside is good for humans, and regardless which name you use to talk to the divine, it is out there in the intricate functioning of the natural world. May you find peace within yourself ❤

Your KZbin page ended up on my algorithm for a reason. I am a believer of Christ, but am more spiritual than religious. So far, after watching some of your videos, you seem to be aligned with some of my beliefs. Keep speaking your truth, and you will be rewarded. The ones that call themselves Christian and align themselves with the MAGA values will get their comeuppance. You can only guide folks to the light, but you can’t make them believe in the higher power that is love, as the almighty intended for us to inherit. May you live in the glory of God’s love and light.

As a self-described "recovering Catholic," I found it hilarious that this person thought you're Catholic. How many times have you mentioned your wife, or your daughter? I'm DYING here!!

To be fair, though not the norm, there are indeed Catholic priests who are married and have children. Though I'm sure this particular person was much too enraged by the love the Reverend exudes.

I'm so sorry you went through that. I'm grateful I was raised by calm & the more loving type of Catholics & church. I ran into my first fire & brimstone priest & church in my 20s for my cousin's baptism. It was VERY different. It felt like it was all about control through fear. Which seems to be reflected in that email. Thank you again. Always look forward to your daily videos. Reminds me to keep my humanity
