Father Alar, forever I am indebted to you for saving my soul. I was a “cafeteria, lukewarm Catholic” only choosing what was most convenient for me. Due to the fact too, that I didn’t know anything about my Faith. Those beautiful Sisters of my childhood did their very best, but instead of saying my Rosary, I hung it on my wall. (I loathe to admit that!) I loved Jesus & Mary my entire life, but never gave of myself, because I didn’t know how. I’ve changed a lot since your first episode, included in my resume now, is that I am a co-catechist teaching First Communion. Had I not followed you, I would’ve never sacrificed my time to do it. Not to mention, I wouldn’t know nothing in order to even teach! Now I know the immensity of sacrifices we are required to make, all because of you. To who much is given, much is expected- you said that! Know your Faith so that you can love your Faith- also you Father Alar! To the negative comments: I wish that I could tell them, do you not understand the enormity of the sacrifices these Fathers make- their personal struggles & challenges? Just so you may believe the urgency of their message to you? Oh how again, you are given the gift of mercy & knowledge now, and yet you still refuse to receive it, even mocking it still. Father Alar, I can’t wait till you come back to speak again. It was so difficult to choose who to receive Holy Communion from - you or Father Calloway! So hard! Like choosing between Saint Joseph & Saint Peter! To all who wonder what Father Alar is like in person: he is so welcoming, loving, so immensely kind and above all, incredibly humble. Last thing, because of you & Father Calloway & Gaitely, the Rosary is off the wall & prayed every Friday during Adoration. Father Chris...I was privileged to care for my Mother in my home for the last 13 months of her life. There was a mix blessings and new memories and sorrows that are hard to describe, but I'm glad i was able to provide a safe and home environment for her during the restrictive Covid lockdowns and isolation inflicted on so many and would do it again, perhaps with more humility and patience. My brother Christopher who is one of the Knights of Columbus here in Las Vegas gave me my first introduction, about 6 months ago, to your sermons Father Chris. I have been going through a very difficult time through Covid like most but just when I started to get back in to working my job I have loved for 8 years and get back on track things started going against me there and I had already lost my unemployment eligibility. Then my 10 year relationship which at the beginning of Covid started showing its True Colors ended. Needless to say I was a bit shaken but as I started watching your teachings night after night religiously (excuse the pun Father Chris) and understand more and more His path for my life the stress and darkness began to fall away and leave in their wake the most unfamiliar absolutely amazing feeling of Peace. Joy. Love. God Bless you Father Chris. You have been my light at the end of the tunnel guiding me back to My Father for I am a child of the Most High God.

9:25 WE ALL are very blessed to have you.. unfortunately a few weeks ago at 5:30 pm Mass it was a Saturday at the third church bell I got to hear our churchs judgment... From all the way at my grandma's cemetery.. Father Chris. From the time I was a child, I always was in admiration on the blessed Mother and of Jesus Christ. My grandmother used to take me to church whenever we were living with her, and I was in Admiration by the whole Catholic faith. Many times, I would talk to God, Jesus and Mary and I felt very strongly that they were with me many times. I even considered becoming a nun. I was only 17 at the time, but I had a deep Desire to give birth to a child. To have a child a home a family like my parents. I got married in the Catholic Church by a Catholic priest, but this priest did not do what he should’ve done when we were going to counseling before we got married especially concerning the man I was to marry. The man I married, was not a worthy man. we were married seven years. in that seven years he was sleeping with so many women I began to lose my Faith. I kept asking God and Jesus and Mary for help but I kept insisting on my own answers. I was pushed away by my family Because I had filed for divorce, and that was not what you were supposed to do as a Catholic, and I became fearful. I became fearful, because I had no real education. I had three children, and I just didn’t know what else to do. My only Safe-haven was the fact of my father was a Marine and I married a Marine. Pretty much that’s all I knew. Out of desperation, and I did believe I loved my second husband, I married another Marine. He didn’t like the Catholic Church and so we drifted to the Lutheran Church. But my children were getting older and insisted that we go back to the Catholic Church and so we did. all of a sudden my second husband wanted to become a Catholic. He was willing to go to RCI but one thing he made very clear that he was not going to put any faith in The blessed mother. Because he could not embrace the whole church, I refuse to be a sponsor. But my mother became his sponsor. after he became Catholic We renewed our vows in the Catholic Church. Two years later, he left me for another woman. We were married for 12 years but it took 2 more years of hell before the divorce was final. I have been divorced now for almost 30 years and it’s taking me that much time to realize that the only true person who loves me is Jesus and God and Mary. I have always gone to church. I have always received communion and gone to confession, but because I had to support my children and myself, I focus more on just trying to survive. in 2010 I started focusing more on my faith. it was something I am so grateful for. The reason for my renewed presents with god, Jesus, and the blessed mother is as a special ed teacher I had some difficulties with some student and administration and parents so I turned to God a lot and asked him to help guide me through these different times. He did! My sister also had some dealings with her marriage, and she turned to God all the time and slowly but surely she is introduced me more deeply into the our faith. I am looking forward to advent this season in a new light. I am looking into prayer My four children who do not talk to me because of things that they have done in their lives after they left home that they continuously blame on me, they will not talk to me about what those things are so that we could have a better relationship and this is one of the hardest things for me. I pray for them. All the time. And this is where my biggest sorrow is especially during the holidays. But my joy is knowing that the holy family is with me always and I do travel to see my brother, my sisters and my cousin and together we work through our sorrows about our children and put our faith in Jesus Christ. Please keep my family in your prayers as well: my oldest daughter is never happy with any decisions I make concerning my life she condemns any thing I do or say. I listen to what she says, but continue to follow only what god wants of me. I need to let you know I am very satisfied in my life. I can support myself, I am in a good church, and have wonderful neighbors and friends. I do not know why she feels she needs to control my life. My first son is homosexual. My second son has been with many women and apparently has a girlfriend - not married, my youngest daughter practices wicka, And has been divorced once already.They were all baptized, received communion and my first 3 were confirmed. I will continue to be watching your series which helps me very much. This is where my joy is May God bless you and keep you and Places blessings upon you always. Pray for my children to return to the church for their souls.
