Thank you I am subscribing. I live 45 minutes from the shoe building you showed and my tyrannical father never allowed me to visit as a child. He said "buildings must be logical. America is becoming novel and will collapse if buildings like these are normalized". That's not an exact quote but it was along those lines. He also hated Amish barn stars because they were "Ultra-Conspicuous Ornamentation" of course he didn't realize the irony that Amish buildings are always plain minus the star but compared to almost every other modern building the start is hardly conspicuous. I went on a road trip after graduating high school when he saw I took a picture in front of a gas station shed shaped like a corn he just stared in silence then and I could see him shaking with rage but he calmed himself and didn't say anything. I did finally visit the shoe building and enjoyed it... I never told him though.

I loved Vegas! The air conditioning requirements for each hotel on the strip must require SERIOUS technology. How they organise the functions of these buildings is unfathomable. The signage in the US totally kick our arses in the UK - been saying this for years!
