You said that the history of avarnas are not yet been studied, then, why should the avarnas be studying the history of savarnas? Why?

To a great extend, yes because of the elite group. How do you think that these elite groups were first formed? After this question is clear, then at some point there could be a discussion on epics.

Prof Thapar advocates elitist ideas of what makes a good public intellectual. Criticizes gimmickry, lack of integrity, Social Media, too much ideology being propagated now. must watch @

Romilla a great historian but very uncomfortable to talk on caste system. Pity on her

What if i say that, the brahmins first invaded and started ruling, then the exchange of genes took place and then the new genes had greater authority over the land because new born genes had similarities between the already existing ones and the brahmins, hence won the recognition from the already existing people as well and so the purpose of the creation of a prominent varna system took place because of the dilution of the first structured caste system which strictly followed their own profession. Also thinking of the oral traditions in afrika, I really believe that the written laws were the problem for the destruction of the Indus Valley civilization. It was by then proved with the sculpture of lingam that evolution happens only through sex and has nothing to do with religion. Had to call it linga because that is the present name.

In the ancient history, when there were no borders, and the avarnas existed and avarnas have their own oral historical traditions, then why are you still persisting on the importance of the epics ramayana and mahabharata? And more importantly, why are you containing the ancient Indian history to just the area limits of India? Why don’t you ever state the common believes in the oral traditions on the avarnas and the believes of the Chinese people? Brahmins are totally out of the story in this case.

The other ways, you mean debating. Long debates. You are this old now and debates been going on for how many centuries and millenniums? And no body asked whether, if there is a caste of people working in the field growing rice then, did the dharmashastras had all the details about, when, how, which and what is to be done about getting a good yield of rice in that season? Or, did the dharmashastras teach the caste Tandan to climb a coconut tree and know everything about a coconut tree? Why such a level of basic questions are not asked and instead still talking about epics and nationalism which has separated the world and still keeping it separated? That lady in the red sari, who ever she maybe, what is her real history? Also Romila Thapar ji, what is your real history? How do you think your genetic combinations were made for the first time? How?

Instead of writing history objectively, keeping the subjective element to the minimum, this woman wrote an ideological interpretation of Indian history thereby making it distorted and subverted. So it should be rewritten. She might think that she had done a laudable thing. I am not impressed by the many laurels she received from the Western institutions that give awards to anyone who denigrates India, forgetting the fact that these westerners inhabited miserable hovels while India had a great civilization going. I am quite ashamed that such pseudo-intellectuals hold high positions in our academic institutions.
