Learning how to catch Tilapia (More Arlington canal fishing)

I went back to the Arlington Canals with my son to catch what I thought were bluegill. Turned out I was wrong.

It’s loaded with talipa corn work really great with them just have a small weight 2 inch above the hook

The urban lakes around phx are loaded with tilapia. They get several lbs

Is there any lake you recommend? I’m closest to Surprise, but they don’t have any.

@@fishingjunkie5436 it's been a lot of year since I fish for them. So idk exactly where to point you especially since lots die off evey winter. Closest thing to you I know had them is hidden lake. Although I think there was a die off there recently (golden algae).
