You got some amazing scenery in all your videos... much much MUCH better than the grey boring coastline of ours :) It's also nice to be able to kite without having dozens and dozens of other kiters criss-crossing through each other. That's very intimidating when learning to kite. Signed up for some lessons with my wife this week and planning to visit family and go kiting in the Caribbean when this whole covid mess clears up. Got the gear, got the lessons and soon it'll be practice, practice, practice! Looking forward to it.

Is it possible to self rescue in off shore wind situation?
@JakeKelsick4 жыл бұрын
It would be extremely hard. I'd never recommend kiting in offshore wind without a safety boat.

What set up do you recommend for beginners ?
@niekvanwensen4 жыл бұрын
A kite that I personally find really nice is a north NEO (I have a 9m) it is a really stable kite because it has only 3 struts (most kites have 5). it’s designed as a wave kite, it’s extra stable so u can focus on the wave, but that makes it a perfect beginner kite, but it’s also a really nice kite for advanced kiters (not only for wave kiting but also jumping)

Check out www.tonalife.com The Stratus and the Joyride would be a perfect setup for learning and progressing on. 🤙🏻

More than one kite! Colder countrys .... wetsuit boots gloves. Do not buy old kites ! Pre 2012.... good allrounder kite.... not a high end kite
