Holy shit, this is undeniably fascinating! thanks for plugging gutenburg, I'd never heard of it. Time to chug through some classics, admittedly in regular letters.

Thank you! And absolutely regarding gutenberg--definitely a goldmine! I'm always surprised by the titles I see on there

This is really interesting. Synesthesia is not a great thing to have in music. I mean it can be fine, but when they start seeing notes in wrong colors in a book, students with synesthesia start to struggle with the cognitive dissonance. Big bummer when color is so useful. Like, there's a book called Scales Bootcamp that used to be black and white, but now is in color. New students do much better with color, and I don't think that benefit would be seen with synesthesia. I alternate the colors in the teaching materials I make so that I don't accidentally teach synesthesia, haha

That's fascinating that you mix the colors up on purpose! I wonder what would happen if you used patterns instead? Like black and white patterns--checkerboard, diamond lattice, circle bubbles, etc...

@@VangusKhan I would imagine well, in some ways, but most of it is text, circles and arrows, and those need color to draw attention, and associations. The color really helps. I'll include a google docs link to a pdf of something I'm working on, but please don't widely distribute this, it's going to be free, but it's not anywhere near ready, lol. drive.google.com/file/d/1zhqoKR23osUuTSN0r0Q5mh3-QMGu9YXK/view?usp=sharing

Here's an interesting thought do you think you can use this to teach yourself a new language faster? Would be cool if you tried and reported back your findings.

Any chance of publishing the font (or giving some technical insight into creating it)? This seems very fun to try out, but all my experience with fonts (and the tools I have, I think at least) is monochrome.

I can def add this on future vids to cover how to implement so you can create your own color books :)
