Another thing that always makes easy to spot(at least for me) when a image is made by ai is the image style. They are always very cutesy anime style, high half anime realism, and realism. After all when a art is made from a person you can see they own artistic style, in contrast the Ai always have the same styles.

I feel bad for the artists who's artstyles were used to create these AI. They will always look like AI now despite requiring a lot of skill.
@madmouse44007 ай бұрын
They also have very "aggressive" lighting. Like , I have the impression that the exposed part of the model is roasting under stadium lights and the contrast between exposed and unexposed part is really really noticable (I also think that this level of exposure, the unexposed part should be pitch black). Most artists have a softer way to draw light , even a character that is supposed to be under a hot summer sun still has a lighting softer than that of normal AI art.
@chattycatty33367 ай бұрын
Not always true :) so art copies from pretty much all online artists, so it depends what you type in the search bar. "Anime" will generate art that looks more cutesy like you said, but you can also look up specific artists and have that style copied as well. For example, if you looked up "angel ganev ai art", you would get art generated in his style. Does that make sense?

Also, just doing color studies on skin is a great way to learn to blend with detail. AI Art bro here and i want to help you to make your art harder to be taken or to be generate by ai: 1.use an image aspect ratio that is not in power of 2 like 640x640 or 1024x980 and so on, use an aspect ratio like this 1577x899 2.use some kind of simple pattern in the background or on objects,ai art always messes this up like a simple checkerboard pattern 3.use things in your are that are transparent looking, because ai art cant find out how to make something transparent. its because when ai generate things it makes every pixel at the same time, its not an layer based generation, so when you make something transparent you have done already the layers behind it and than add an transparent layer on top of that, ai art cant do this well or just bad. 4.hand and feet are better now with control net options BUT when they touch complex forms its all get messy 5.when you ad things in the background that look like text or symbols but arent , most ai look at this image in thier training and will get confused and will remind this image as text. so next time someone would generate the same style it can happen that the ai generates text. 6.never use simple or no background its easier for ai to be trained on it, always use an complex background it dont need to make any sense, add light rays in the foreground that changes the HUE or colors in the image and that also confuses the training of ai. when you want to look at ai art only use lexica.art/ there can you see the biggest flaws they have. i hope in the future image ai uses an CC0 image model so this "war" is over.

19:00 weeeh, the whole time I was waiting for you to fix the eyes DX one is higher then the other lol. It wouldn't have messed with me so bad but the ears with their symmetry made it so noticeable 🤣. That being said the rendering better then anything I could do. When it comes to the hair, it helps to break them up into bigger shapes then add any fly away hair last. I don't know if this would bother you with me pointed out another creator, if so I can edit my comment. But recently I've been watching the creator, pikat , their video "Draw better hair like this!" I've been trying to relearn to draw some things, and their videos kept coming up in my feed, they helped me understand hair a bit more, some tricks that could have helped you here vs learning from how AI does hair. 30:40 personally I think yours, it came out way better then the ref. You completely made it your own, I don't see the flaws you might see in the fabric, I still struggle with how to draw clothing so it just looks super pretty to me lol. 31:55 If you've seen characters that have animal ears or horns under a cloak, it sticks out like this normally. The ears weren't meant to be poking out of the vale like hat but under it but it's shape showing through. Lately my motivation with art drops 30mins in =withers away on floor= I have over 100 unfinished drawings in a folder. I'm doomed.

I like seeing more people redrawing AI art. I started to do this Early last year, and it's a lot of fun. I'm also maybe getting more attention than the scammers, yes scammers who post the generations as "references" for just a quick buck and scam people out of their money. Also, those AI bros are really funny, when it comes to style. I've come across at least twenty who are like "It's AI, I own it, you're copying me" AI doesn't have a copyright, neither does an art style for that matter, I keep seeing claims of "stealing a style" (something that's not possible) when it comes to generations, you also can't gain ownership of a style. You can't own a generation copyright wise, unless... you built a generator yourself and trained it on your own artwork. I have friends who have built their own generators entirely on their art, and I know it's theirs because I've followed their work for years, I recognize what pieces of their work end up as part of generations that they've shared.

Always finishing a drawing isn't exactly vital, of course, it's a good habit because as an artist you discard a lot of things and leave a lot of art unfinished. The best habits are to go back to basics, and fix those aspects, not just gesture, but dynamic sketching, textures, studies aimed at the areas we're missing. And also look at the processes of other artists, some of whom teach facilitations that can be included and modified in your routine workflow.

wouldn't it be better and more beneficial to find an actual artist to study, rather than redrawing something generated by the plagiarism machines? the point of studying others' art is to figure out the decisions they've made and why they've made them. The AI doesn't make any decisions, there's no thought or artistic merit behind the generated images so I don't see what you could get from redrawing them like this.

@chattycatty33367 ай бұрын
It's hated because it makes things easy, and doesn't always get it right. Generating art to use as a REFERENCE or just to have a pretty wallpaper is one thing, but a lot of people have been using AI art in their marketing. The issue with that is 1) you're taking away jobs from real people 2) you're stealing that art from other artists who have worked hard to make those images, just for a computer program to tweak it a bit and claim it as an "original peice" 3) you can very easily lie about your products. If a computer generates an image of your product but you can't meet that expectation, you are scamming people. 4) it takes no effort or time really. Labor is a form of love. If you take the time to write your own descriptions, and take your own photos of products you made yourself, it shows the passion you have for what youre doing, and gives customers confidence when working with you. All in all, I think AI should stay out of business. But I don't really see an issue with it if you're just using it for your own personal, non-profit use. Just don't go around claiming to be an "ai artist" cause that's not a real thing and you'll just be laughed at 💀
