Such a normal thing to find it challenging to be alone around people. However, it gets so much better the more you do it and once you actually get comfortable with it, it’s one of the most empowering things there is ! It took me literally years to get there (actually most of my twenties) and I still overthink it sometimes… but this summer I travelled solo for 3 weeks and even went to see Taylor Swift in Wembley all by myself and it was absolutely beautiful ! So relatable, girl. I have the same problem with being alone, most I end up spending time with family or friends. But I've been trying to learn enjoying alone time, so I can say it gets easier and really fun the more you do it.

I am married, but I do also love time by myself. When I was in my. 20’s I used to go to the cinema a lot by myself also and then holidays. My first solo flight was to New Zealand with a 7 hour stopover in Hong Kong though I never went out the airport being by myself. Since then I’ve been to Lanzerote, several Greek islands, trekking in Nepal, Italy and Cyprus plus Jerusalem on my own with great touring companies. I don’t have as much money to travel these days but am saving for Malta or Mallorca for next year with hubby x But I wouldn’t mind travelling on my own again if I had too xx

Just found your channel. I love being by myself. I take myself to the movies out to dinner…. It’s great. Everyone should do things alone sometimes. I think that people often miss out on things because they won’t do it alone, and no one else wants to do it.

I enjoy this frequently and my coffee chain means I can connect to the Cloud so I can read online. I love the noise of the espresso machine and people in the background whilst enjoying my read. Sometimes I read so long that when I look up people have gone and others have taken their place 😊 Find a relaxed chain who are not counting their chairs. 😉

I know first-hand how challenging spending time alone can be because I too get in my head often and struggle to fully enjoy being present in my surroundings. tho contrary to your preference funnily enough, I can't keep my thoughts quiet when I'm all by myself in the middle of nowhere, I always need music or a podcast to fill the silence. whereas I rlly like observing people's lil mannerisms and interactions or watching animals play around in the park. haha so I could use some of your tips for enjoying the peace and quiet of being alone 🩷
