While watching your videos, a negative thought came to me about disliking my body image, comparing my body with others, and struggled with controlling what I consume. And this is something I struggled at the beginning of this year. Praise the Lord, this video’s notification came out the first thing I opened my phone. Hi sister. I'm 17 and I struggle with my body image too. I used to do track and field and cross country, but then I injured myself last year. You are an inspiration. Please love yourself always. God loves you so so much. I'm looking to get back into something I used to love and still love. It gave me the time with God I truly needed. I might get into dance too! Have you ever tried praise dancing? I love that I found someone that loves dancing, because David glorified the Lord with his dancing. You are so so amazing and so so special to the Lord! God bless! Dancing is really fun. And yes, I used to be a part of a dance ministry for 6 years. We would dance with the praise and worship team in my church, create choreographies and have a dance concert every December with many dance styles like hip hop, contemporary, jazz, etc. I left in 2021 because I moved to a different country and I have not found a dance ministry to be a part of ever since. But I've been praying to maybe start using the social media platform and glorify God through the gifts He has given me. Don't apologize for rambling! thank you so much for this video! i recently started recovery from a 7 year battle with my eating disorder and i feel like i've spent so much of my teenage years focused on my body and food and just trying to control those things to become the smallest version of myself. i feel like i was so focused on my ed instead of being focused on my relationship with God. since i started recovery from my ed i have also been trying to strengthen my relationship with God and connect with God on a deeper level. this video really helps me a lot with my recovery journey and my journey with God! :)

He is so faithful. This is the word I received for you in one of your Jesus freaks videos where you were talking about it with Allie. I even commented on it to share this word with you. All of these things stop mattering as much when you get to 40 & have kids. I swear we are so self focused in our twenties and thirties. I actually got rid of my full length mirror in order to stop focusing on my body. The lord broke my mirror. It simply fell off the back of my door and smashed. I never replaced it. I knew the lord was trying to tell me something. Guess what? It changed my life. I no longer stand in front of a mirror with my kids wondering why it’s taking me so long to pick an outfit. I no longer have a reason to do a mirror selfie. I’m no longer distracted in the morning. I’m no longer focused on my body in an unhealthy way. I would notice my mood change based on how I felt about my body or my outfit. I go to the gym, I see myself there. I’m not trying to prove anything with a mirror selfie. I also love how you talk about fasted exercise. It’s interesting because just this week I asked the lord what he wants me to fast from and how I should eat. He actually instructed me to eat more breakfast. Instead of a banana protein smoothie he wanted me to have a bowl of oats.
