He is guiding me in the path to freedom! I’ve struggled with a mild (maybe it was more intense than I remember, idk rose colored glass) eating disorder around the age of 14-16and I consistently worked out, and I would work until and after I felt that grumble in my stomach, because I felt like in some weird way, my stomach was getting smaller then. I would nitpick my body, and seeing everybody with flat stomachs and abs online it made me more self-aware that I didn’t look like that. My relationship with food was rocky since I didn’t feed myself enough (I still ate, but trained myself to only have a small portion every time). After a while I was watching Alivia D’andrea’s ‘glow up diaries’ series and it chronicled a version of myself that I saw in her- she continued the diaries as a recovery series as it was an ed in disguise. I learned that food is fuel and it’s supposed to be enjoyed. But I’ve found myself falling into the other ditch and not paying attention to my temple at all. I’m going to be 20 in 3 weeks and satan is trying to wedge the ed back in my life. In Jesus name, he has no hold on me. So I thank you for letting God speak through you, Ashley❤ I was crying the whole video

Amen girl! Love this video and you're absolutely on point. I just want to add some things. First is, the enemy likes to mimic the holy spirit. Just because you ask God a question, you can also expect to get an answer from the enemy. It's why I don't do yes/no questions. I've literally gotten both as an answer at the same time, just too many times to count and it *does* cause confusion, so I changed how I ask. This is why Paul says to take *every* thought captive. I like to ask for God's direction instead because *all* direction can be backed up by scripture. God isn't going to do/say something that contradicts the bible (as you stated). This is why knowing God and studying scripture is so paramount to spiritual warfare. Its like knowing your best friend. If someone comes up to you and says "hey your best friend said ...(fill in the blank), is that true?", you would know if it sounds like your best friend would say something like that or not. Same deal with God. The other thing I'd like to mention is don't be afraid to fail. It's in our failures, that we learn and grow. So stepping out in faith, is the confidence that even if you fail and follow the wrong voice, God will redirect you and you will learn from the experience so you can better hear him in the future.

My sister Ashley I have just prayed the prayer with you this morning. I am so thankful The Lord guided me to this particular video as I fall into satan’s trap of struggling with body image: idolizing nutrition intake and my exercise/physical activity. What a burden it can be on my mind, heart, and soul. And how sad it does make The Lord. Thank you my sister for posting this video; I am so grateful to be a part of this community of believers in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen 🙏

girl, thank you so much. I'm not even done with watching your videos when I tried your 2 questions 😭 the thing is, I've been 'hearing God's voice' but it was so hard for me to trust since i don't know if it's my thoughts or not. but what you said all makes sense. the message was all consistent about what i need to do and what he wants me to know, it's just hard for me to believe it, and i always doubted myself. one time, I felt like the Holy Spirit told me that "why are you so quick to listen to the negative and warnings, but not when the message is positive?" 😭 again, thank you for this video. God bless you. ❤

Thank you so much, Ashley! Just a suggestion, a video about thanks would be perfect timing! Thanksgiving coming up and everything, a lot of people forget about what the real meaning of thanks is when they're so busy making food, and I think it's pretty important. It's fine if you don't, it's just an idea!

Amen!! 🙏❤️ Thank you Ashley for this video, you don’t hide that your life isn’t always good, but even through hard times where you struggle Trusting The Lord, you still help us know that no matter what the case seems to be, God Loves us and needs us to wait for his plan to come at the right time!! Praise The Lord Your God!! Amen!! 🙏💕 Though waiting seasons are tough, it’s a season and you have to get through the storm to the get to the house. God will never make us bite off more than we can chew so hold on. most of this had nothing to do with god. it gives the impression that you need to look or be a certain way to identify yourself as a christian. the hair, the nails, and holy girl look, seriously.. this is superficial and unimportant. Maybe volunteer somewhere, practice kindness, ACTUALLY BE MODEST! its not just about clothing. im sick of these videos.

Please read this, it would only take about 3 Minutes. Many claim to know God, but their actions say otherwise. The Bible even warns about people like this: “This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from Me..” (Mark 7:6) How can you know if you might be one of these people? God gave us the Ten Commandments as the standard of righteousness. How many lies have you told in your life? Have you ever stolen anything, even if the value was small? Have you ever looked with lust at anyone you’re not married to? The Bible says “everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Matthew 5:28) If you’ve done these things, God sees you as a liar, a thief, and an adulterer-at-heart. You see, God is perfectly Holy, Just and Good. His justice means Hell for those who are guilty. You might think you’re a “good person,” but would a good judge let a murderer go because he did other “good things?” Definitely not, and God is the same. Your “good deeds” can never make you right with God. However, there’s GOOD NEWS! God made a way for sinners to be forgiven without violating justice. He took on flesh in the person of Jesus Christ. He lived the sinless life we couldn’t, and then offered Himself on the cross as a sacrifice for sin. Jesus took the wrath of the Father, then rose from the dead… showing the penalty fully paid! God commands you to repent and put your faith in Jesus alone for salvation. Cry out to God, confessing and forsaking your sins. Trust in what Jesus did for salvation, not in your own deeds. God promises eternal life and a new heart that will desire righteousness. Read your Bible daily and obey what you read.

Thank you so much for sharing this important message !Thank God for letting me know this . I come from China. Chinese people like thin people 😢 Even my mom and dad always say I am fat 😢 I do have serious issues of losing weight and appearance anxiety. I want to lose weight. When I stick to a diet for a while and the result was overeating. I tortured myself 😢 So thank you so much for making this video! From now on , I will surrender my body size and life to my Lord. I will also pray for the people who used to laugh at me about my size because they don’t know what is the truth. Hope more and more people understand how to love God and themselves ❤

Run on a treadmill for 20 mins, first start out stretching before getting on treadmill 5-10mins, get on treadmill slow walking, jogging and when you heart rate has increased then increase pace to a sprint for 30secs to a minute and slow speed back to recovery jogging, after recovery increase pace again to sprinting 30secs to a minute and slow pace again to jogging do 2-4 cycles of sprinting for 2 minutes and back to jogging and then slow down to a jog and walk as you bring you heart rate down to normal. And stretch after in conclusion. No sodas or junk and drink electrolytes to replenish the fluids you sweat during activity. I disliked running as well, but this method helped me prep for soccer as a coach to build endurance to kick about with the kids. Hope this helps! Movie: Remember The Goal The Perfect Race

I've missed you so much and your good vibes, Ash! Thank you for this video. ❤ I just thought to share the one thing I learned about self-worth, and it's this: trying to fix or love myself is actually still a form of self-reliance and self-control, and it's still pressure-inducing, and I didn't know that it was what's keeping me imprisoned. I'm personally performance-driven like you that's why I've always felt like it's my responsibility to fix myself and overcome my anxiety and insecurities, but the Lord so loves me that He rebuked me and removed the scales in my eyes. And what He revealed to me changed my life, and it's this: the way to find self-worth is to lose our self-worth and become selfless. The moment that we stopped to even think about ourselves, the moment we remove the focus on ourselves, stop thinking about what's good for us or what's not good for us, all these healthy lifestyles, all the need to be modest, to be fit, to be inspiring, about what we have to achieve, all these are good, but the moment we stopped pressuring ourselves to become all these, and instead have an outward outlook in life, a life that lives to bless others, a life that is willing to endure pain for others, to suffer for the Kingdom, it's when we truly find our worth. These are all good, but believe me that you don't need them, you don't need self-worth, self-worth is just a byproduct of loving, serving, and being one with Jesus. And He will give it to you when you've ripened in the season of self-death. God bless you!! I love you, sis in Christ!
