Step 1. roll up to the curb and onto the curb, no ollie. (do that until it becomes natural) Step 2. ollie half way up the curb. one truck on top, one truck still off the curb. then push the nose and roll the rest of your skateboard up the curb as you did in step 1. (do this until it becomes easy) Step 3. ollie all the way up the curb with all 4 wheels.

Yessssirrrr I’ll start with the good: I like seeing you talk in your vids it adds a lot:) You look comfortable rolling up to the curb not so much getting on top of it but rolling around looks nice Also I really like the deck Ok and here’s what I noticed: When you Ollie a curb you need to have a lot more speed than that but tbh I wouldn’t even worry about trying to Ollie up one yet I would practice popping off the curb to start that will make you more comfortable I would also try Ollie over sticks and like broom handles and that type of stuff The problem with trying to Ollie up the curb is you aren’t committing to it which is just building the bad habit of not committing so it’s better to start on smaller things and learn to commit than try things that are too big and make bad habits But that’s just what I think and UR GETTING SO MUCH BETTER I CAN TELL:))) 🔥🔥🔥 ur doing so good bro keep at it and you’ll get better sooner that you realize

@@Gumbyjunior it usually takes me few tries, i remember at the skatepark going down the took me few tries now I can do it with no problem. It used to be hard the Ollie will take awhile but I do need to start to Ollie or smaller objects first. Will probably practice more today. Thank you

I'm still learning myself but I have a friend who's a god at skating and this is what he told me. "When you Ollie you have to kinda squat then press down on the back foot. Once your board lifts up you wanna slide your front foot up and press down a little in the front so the board straightens up while you're in the air then lightly stomp both feet to land"

I know that’s what I’m working on. I’m getting the board in the air it’s just my timing.

so a few points of advice on the physics of skateboarding, you seem like a well read dude so im sure you will be able to apply the physics to the logic of skateboarding. first off, speed gets you over things, not jumping over them, trying to hop forward only really works with 180s, which applys to your second point, about going on the side of the curb and ollying onto it parallel to the board. now this, is a way you can hop on a board, you can ollie towards the side of the board a lot easier than the front or back, so if you did want to hop onto the curb, doing it the horizontal way you can easily hop 8 inches towards your toes and ge up the curb, even without moving. but when moving, its your speed that gets you over a curb, so work on getting comfortable with a decent pace, so try putting a stick on the ground, either next to it when you ollie or try to ollie over the stick. you have to be moving fast enough to clear the stick, or you wont ollie the curb, but once you clear the stick, you can clear the curb. and final note, its good you are taking it slow and just getting used to the actions, this is best way to not get hurt, gotta practice it not working out so when it doesnt work out, you have a bit of practice and you right, just ridding around, once you get used to good cruising speeds you can ollie more stuff.

@@beatles42ohgg94 I do need to work on my speed Pop, slide and ollying on the grass usually helps me So I will practice today on a stick maybe for 30 minutes I think if I do this for like a week I will improve a lot Tomorrow I will try to make a video on the shuv it I’ll also practice it today Thank you
