The background music sounds like some mystical music that would be played at a seance. I doubt brother Née would approve. Just more of what he preached, man idea of of making something spiritual happen by human means.

I agree because the music can be distracting or drowns out the narration, also if you could slow down the narration just a tad for deaf people who have to use the sub titles and are slightly slow readers

The reason I am understanding of why God does not answer us straight away is that we may have patience for patience produces endurance. And this the more patience and endurance the more we are strengthen into our inner man and the more we come to rely on Him.

Praise God, my Sister told me year ago about Watchman Née will get his books. Thank the Lord , was reading 1John for my devotion ,False teaching was plentiful then and is today . Paul also said follow him as he follow Christ. Good teaching . Praise the Lord.

Well, if it is so, then "simplicity in Christ" is probably not too far off. One of those highly demanding Nee teachings that can be encouraging, but can also discourage you from the outset. But I have to say, time and again he is uniquely excellent, it doesn't get more spiritual and biblical than this. The problems he deals with are very real and essential! But hopefully things are usually a little more simple.

Amen,to the comment to please reduce the background music; please understand you're doing a good work with your sharing these precious truths, and we appreciate your sencerity, and so if you really desire to help God's people ( and it appears you do) then please in love for God, and His children honor our request about the background music ( that actually distracts,and I believe you mean well) and when you reduce the background music,you will most likely receive far more positive comments as such! I was wondering, while watchman was locked up in prison, did he pray that God set him free? But yet it’s God’s will for him to sacrifice his life for the Lord. What kind of struggle he must have been through. Deep down he might already knew God would not “answer” his prayers, becuase his will is the other way around. 😢
