Deception isn't the only intimidating trail around Brushy Creek Park. I've got to get used to the idea of exposure if I'm going to be living in Colorado!

Seeing you unpack all those wires and crap reminds me how much I hate moving. Regarding the exposure deal, I'm in this for the fun of it, I don't want to die...

Nice ride man. The entrance to that one decent with the wood looked sketchy! Can't wait to see you riding out in CO!

It was super sketchy in person. If you didn't know it was there is would take you by surprise. I'm stoked to see what adventures I go on in CO!

Thanks, man! When we go one these group rides I like to focus on the people as much as the trail. Everyone and everything has a story!

I actually enjoy the story/people a bit more than the riding. I am going to make every effort to make the group ride with you and Eric (when y'all announce it).

They were pretty sketchy! As long as you take it slow it's not bad.

The problem is with those two trails is that it is all exposure with gravel on top of either rock or rooty hardpack. Scares the crap out of me every time but so worth it.

awesome! i have a bad echo in my space. where can i get sound foam like yours ? Fun edit!
@TrailFeatures
@TrailFeatures 6 жыл бұрын
Trail Bike Bebop www.thefoamfactory.com/acousticfoam/acousticfoam.html There is a grip of good info out there on acoustic tuning a room (much different than sound deadening/proofing) so make sure you do a little bit of reading before you hit the buy button. As a quick Pro tip, get the thickest foam you can afford, even if it means covering less square until you can afford more. Also, different foam shapes are better at absorbing different sounds. For example, the pyramid shape that I use is better at absorbing higher frequencies (good for me because I use tools in my space while recording), whereas the wedge is better for lower frequency such as voice.

sick ride man, you're so lucky that you can afford a decent bike, I ended u with a bloody polygon hardtail, its not that bad but would still prefer a DS. Keep up the awesome work! ps- Hi from Australia

Shame that you're leaving the Austin region. I'm going there in December and planning a ride in the Greenbelt. Wanted to ask you if you would be interested in hooking up and having a laugh about the guy from The Netherlands riding typical Austin trails. Oh well.

I'm going to miss Austin, and will likely come back down during the winter to visit and thaw. You may have a chance to run into me!

My trip is planned for the first week of December. Still going to contact you to see if there are any locals potentially interested in a ride. I normally do solo rides but I do like to have someone tag along if I'm in an unfamiliar region with terrain I'm not used to riding. My local friend initially wanted to tag along but he has a huffy and he's at the moment not convinced that he can keep up with his current fitness level. ;-)
