Could anyone explain to me the usage of the phrase "life after" which means the future without. Because in some cases I saw they use after as a preposition which turn the phrase to another sense. For example: I don't believe in the life after the loss of the loved one, but things do carry on. Here, Life after does not mean future without, doesn't it?

For example, whenever i read a english new, i felt like i know this word and i learn from bbc but i don't remember so i try to search from bbc. It's really hard for me to find a video again and again. So, If you guys show the words as a thumbnail, i can easily find and relearn it. I hope my suggestions would help other and BBC please help this difficult.
