"Do everyone a favour and expire downstream." 😂😂😂 I love the touch of gallows humour in this film and the fact that it didn't shy away from death and the natural dynamics between predators and prey. Very refreshing as a lot of kids' films nowadays tend to pander towards being "kid-friendly", whatever that means.

Personally, I think it's the best animated film I've seen in years. It's visually gorgeous, the characters are grounded and relatable but still funny and entertaining, and I think they paid respectful homage to the book, which I appreciate.

I love how when brightbill landed in the water Roz didn't laugh at him she ran to him unlike fink and the possum kids they just laughed you could tell Roz was annoyed she was like that's my son you all are laughing at you could tell through the entire movie she really loved him and she believed in him and knew he could do anything any other goose could do and the way she ran to him was so loving she was worried about her baby❤️❤️❤️

Growing up and seeing "Predator" and even the TNG episode "Skin of Evil" or The Outer Limits, I'd say morbidity comes with growing up as a child. Even some kids cartoons from the 90s or early 2000s had dark humor or morbid elements, it's likely that most people focus on the bright elements of "kid's movies" and ignore the death of Bambi's mother or Chernabog's appearance during "Night on Bald Mountain"
