Oh, I have had a cat mate water fountain for years. Cats love it. I've also used a auto feeder for years. Got one like the first you show for dry food, and it can hold a couple of kilograms. It's really nice the cat isn't dependent on us for feeding. Take a lot of the food stress away. And they don't beg so much. Plus it seems to calm them to know there is consistently being provided a couple of meals at the exact same time every day.

Hey! Yeah the lid just won't open for the wrong cat. They're by the brand 'surefeed', and are a bit expensive, but really good.

I have these too, and if the microchip doesn't work for whatever reason, you can give them a little thing on their collar to open it
