Learning to Walk in Heels... as an Amputee. Can ErintheamputeeQT walk in one heel? I’m letting my friend sell my heel collection on eBay but before he does that I wanted one more chance, I mean I wanted a chance to try to walk in my favorite heel since I’ve had my amputation. #amputee #beach #miami #heels #crutches

My just recently lost her left leg a high level at the hip ampution she's still scared to go out in public and be seen on crutches was it hard for you to adjust I think she's still beautiful even with only one leg

@@charlescook8956 that’s so great to hear. It important to have support. I look at my amputation as a 110% improvement in the quality of my life. The only thing I can say is never be worried about what people think and just keep supporting her. The only I litany thing is how she is feeling and how she is able to walk. Has she gotten her prosthesis yet? It’s a bit more involved and above knee amputation than a below knee, like I have but I only wish her a future of being able to be mobile again and not sick or in pain. Don’t look back and look at this as an adventure and a a whole world of opportunities now. There are many people with amputations, look up the statistics. There is a huge community of support out there and new and wonderful things to discover. She will be better now and tell her not to be afraid. I’m not where I want to be psychically but I know now o can get back to working to get there and anyone who looks at me or questions me is just an opportunity to engage with people and make friends possibly or help others understand and give others confidence. @@fls11264st I kept a few pairs just got rid of most of them. I had like a body bag full of them that I haven’t worn in 10 years. I don’t have a foot that would allow me to wear any. I hope to get one day but I’ll just get new heels when I do.

You could use a prosthetic leg can't you? You still have a knee. You don't need crutches.
